Terry Cowart (goes by T.C.) was the salesman helping us out. We went in there pre-approved from USAA. TC brings the cars, we test drive them and like them both so I decide to have him run the numbers with our trade in. He then tries to get me to have my credit run through Ford. I say to him, ok, but only if you think they can beat the % from USAA. He tells me he thinks they can. Ok great go for it. He begins entering our information. And this is where I start to question things. He doesn't know how to enter in a spouse on the application form. He has to call someone to help him. After further conservation come to find out he has only been working there 2 weeks. Ok, I get it everyone has to start somewhere so we continue on. He then begins to play the games. If you have ever bought a vehicle you know the games I'm talking about. He comes back from the manager with a print out. Containing our trade value, new car, taxes, etc. I look at it and see an additional $2,000.00 for a DNA security system. I ask TC to please explain that to me. He proceeds to tell me its a feature, that is not even in the vehicle but its for my protection if my car gets stolen. I respond ok, I'm not interested in that feature as we have really good car insurance. He responds with well its mandatory. I ask him ok is it already in the car, he tells me no. We have to bring the car back to get the front windows tinted, and 4 other items. One of which included spraying a bed liner. I say um we are buying an Expedition we don't have a bed liner. He says oh yeah ok let me go ask the manager about that. I also ask him to locate where it states it is a mandatory optional feature. So he comes back with this paper explaining the features. And surprisingly he crossed out the bed liner and has prices next to each feature. I ask him did he find out where it says it is mandatory. He can't find it, and begins to become irritated that I am questioning this feature.. Needless to say, we wound up walking out. Beware to all buyers out there who end up in Randall Reeds Planet Ford, get a break down of every single penny!!!!!!!! 7/24/17 3 pm Update: 7/24/17 3 pm Review: (changed from 1 star to 4 star) The manager from the dealership contacted me. We had a long conservation regarding my experience. He listed to my concerns and understood my frustration. He also explained to me where the communication break down happened. He was extremely professional throughout everything. We haven't made a deal as of yet, but I can tell you even if our numbers don't match 100% I would be willing to have more wiggle room just for the fact of how Scott has handled the situation.
