I was assisted by a young man, Weston who was just wonderful and easy to work with. Very detailed. This time, my situation was kind of grim and returned to see if they could help. Al was very kind, understanding and on both occasions I was fitted with the vehicle that suited my needs the best with my circumstances. They price their vehicles in a very responsible fashion. I will remain a loyal Rands customer because of the value, but mostly because of the outstanding customer service and ease of purchase. Amazing people, friendly environment. Best car buying experience. I had been looking for a car for about 4 months and had been searching various sites and dealers across the west. Al was great to deal with, he was always at the end of the phone to answer questions and give us the right information. Everything they promised was delivered and our expectations were exceeded. Horrible Service Well, this could be one of the worst car buying experiences ever. Let me tell what happened. I went up, test drove the car, was about to buy it but Well, this could be one of the worst car buying experiences ever. Let me tell what happened. I went up, test drove the car, was about to buy it but noticed a problem. Instead of taking the car themselves to the Kia on 2100 s., they had me take the car to get serviced. The car wasnt fixed until today which is a Thursday. I get a call essentially pressing me to put down money to hold the car, and since I said that is unfair, they sold the car to someone else on the spot. The ironic thing is that a member of their team knew about the problem, but noone said anything about the problem with the car. I had the cashiers check ready and everything to buy this last Saturday. Do not deal with these guys. Absolutely horrific service. The only bright spot of it all was that a guy named Mike was the only apologetic one throughout it all. More
Easy financing I was stressing over financing another vehicle. I knew it was time to upgrade my vehicle but I didn't want to get stuck with one of those shady contra I was stressing over financing another vehicle. I knew it was time to upgrade my vehicle but I didn't want to get stuck with one of those shady contracts where you pay a bunch of financing fee's. I went to look at a few vehicles and found one i loved. They helped me get financed through a credit union so my interest rates were really fair. I was treated very well, I didn't feel like they were just trying to throw me into any vehicle. They asked me questions about my daily commute etc to see what would work best. Thank you! I will recommend you to any friends or family that need a safe nice vehicle. More
Not very Professional Salesman I just purchased a honda civic hybrid 2012 from them and am not impressed with how the salesman treated me today (yes, i'm writing this the same day i I just purchased a honda civic hybrid 2012 from them and am not impressed with how the salesman treated me today (yes, i'm writing this the same day i purchased the car.) At first, i test-drove the vehicle and noticed the main key (with the remote function) is missing. So the salesman (Weston) told me that the car came with no main key. (if its a lease return, the main key must be returned along with a spare key.) however, the car drove well. i told the sales man that i liked the car and i'd purchase the car only if the chipped parts on the fender are fixed and get the remote key made for me. so he promised me that the chipped parts on the fender would be fixed without looking too obvious and the remote key would be made. therefore, i didn't negotiate the price of the vehicle. Later when I went to pick up the vehicle, (1) they didn't do very good job on painting over the chipped parts in the fender. i was not very impressed with what they promised me. (2) i asked if the extended warranty would cover the cost of replacing the hybrid battery of the vehicle. once the salesman said, it would. but later i made them call the Honda dealer shop to find out that the extended warranty doesn't cover the hybrid battery. so, he apologized me for giving me the false information. (3) So, I kindly asked him to fill up the gas since I'm buying $15,000 worth of vehicle and i want a full tank. but he told me that they can't do it. he can only put $15 worth of gas. what the crap! later, by the time when I'm about to sign the contract, they changed their words that the gas is already put. i know for sure they didn't put any gas that day. so i asked them to put $15 worth of gas as he promised. he got pissed and ran with a credit card to put gas and came back. i went out to the car to check if he really did put the gas he promised. it was only 2 more bars up (less than $5 worth of gas) above the half of the gas tank. so, i came back in and asked him if he really put $15 worth of gas. he said he did. i asked him for the receipt and he told me he didn't print the receipt and refused to respond to me. i asked him if he was being honest and he got mad and told me that he didn't have to sell the vehicle to me and left. Not very professional... so, my experience with josh was not very positive. i felt like he didn't really put much effort on giving me honest feedback and he kept changing his own words. Now I'm afraid if the car has any further issues that I didn't know about or was told by the salesman at the time of purchase of the vehicle. trustworthiness is huge in doing sales. I'm not sure if i would recommend this shop to anyone for buying a good car with confidence. I wish the owner of the shop explains better to their salesmen about the importance of being honest&trustworthy with customers. More
This was the easiest and the most comfortable car buyying experience I have ever had. I am 60 years old and have bought many cars the price was the best I had found the car had low miles and is in very good experience I have ever had. I am 60 years old and have bought many cars the price was the best I had found the car had low miles and is in very good shape,From the time I found the car until we were driving it home was probably 1 to 2 hours very quick in the car buying world. I would highly recommend Rands auto sales to anyone. More
TERRIBLE EXPERICE AFTER PURCHASE. My wife and I bought a car from Rands automotive 5 months ago and in that time we've had to: replace both back tires install new brakes install a new battery replace four f car from Rands automotive 5 months ago and in that time we've had to: replace both back tires install new brakes install a new battery replace four front lights fixed 1 rear light cover that fell off repair and no noise coming from the engine and fix the back door that stopped opening all the way. We called andy (the owner) to ask if they can help with the repairs and he screamed " you guys need to own up and take responsibility for the vehicle! Its a used car! You should've save up for a new car!" I told him that I didn't expect them to pay for all the repairs but they should insure the cars they sell are in good working order. He was a very rude to my wife and I and we will never shop there again. I'm sure that they have many satisfied buyers but make sure you check out the vehicle or you might get the same experience we had. More
