We first became aware of the 2008 Audi A6 on craigslist and decided to just stop by and check it out. When we arrived we were approached by a very friendly sales representative who introduced himself and asked if we had any questions and what we were looking for. We let him know what we had and what we were looking for and he made us comfortable the entire time and not once made us feel overwhelmed. Everyone there that we came in contact with was extremely nice and several shook our hands and congratulated us on our purchase. Worked with us and made us feel great about our purchase and trade-in. Would go back again!!! More
Sarah was very helpful and informative. When I had questions she either knew the answer or found it for me. My original contact was via the internet with Shane Taver, but he did not respond with quote questions she either knew the answer or found it for me. My original contact was via the internet with Shane Taver, but he did not respond with quotes as expected. Shane's name is on the Sales Contract, but I do not feel that he should have the commission, Sarah should get both credit for the sale and the Commission. Please see that she is compensated for her efforts. Thank you, Martha A Graham 1840 Ninth Street Los Osos, CA 93402 marthagra@gmail.com More

I have purchased three cars from Rancho Grande Motors. First we bought a Yukon for a family car back in 2002. We then bought a Hyundai Elantra for my oldest son and then a Hyundai Elantra for my youngest First we bought a Yukon for a family car back in 2002. We then bought a Hyundai Elantra for my oldest son and then a Hyundai Elantra for my youngest daughter. My daughter has the car away at school and told me the alarm system kept going off and that the heater did not work. I exchanged cars with my daughter and brought the Hyundri into the dealer. I was welcomed by a gentleman that I did not know at the time was one of the owners. He told me that he had bought a Hyundri for his daughter and he introduced himself as Todd Reccord. He said he would make sure that the car was fixed and I felt very welcomed by his conversation. I then checked in my car with Tom Walton who is such a wonderful addition to Rancho Grande Motors. He immediately knew what was wrong with the alarm system and fixed it. I needed a ride home and was taken home by Jan a long time employee of Rancho Grande Motors who is always very pleasant be to around. The Hyundai had a part that had gone bad in the dash board that was the cause of the heater not working. Tom talked to the Service Director Brian Federico who said they would take care of the price of the part because I had had so many problems with the car. The part was ordered and installed. I couldn't be happier with Rancho Grande Motors service from Todd Reccord the owner, to Brian Federico the Service Director to Tom Walton who was my service advisor. I have never written or shared my experience with a car dealership before but I felt this was above and beyond normal service. More
Chris Wallace took good care of us while we purchases our 2011 camry. Made buying process simple and enjoyable. We are happy, repeat customers and will ask specifically for him for future purchases. So I came in to see some newer cars, although I'm not looking to purchase anything until fall of 2013. Jeff was very friendly and professional, and obviously knowledgeable about the cars I looked at. I looking to purchase anything until fall of 2013. Jeff was very friendly and professional, and obviously knowledgeable about the cars I looked at. I'm a college student at Cal Poly and I went to the Dodge dealer, Mercedes-Benz dealer, and so far this has been the absolute best. I wasn't able to do a test drive quite yet but I'm sure in the future I will have the option! He opened up my options by showing me the Hyundai Genesis; I will seriously consider this car now after being introduced to it. I had no idea you could get an equally nice car as a Mercedes for way less. Such a great deal, I have his card so now I know who to call in the future if I end up getting a Hyundai or Cadillac! More

I was dropped @ Margie's Diner, per my request, for b'fast & reading while I waited for my car to be serviced. It was finished in the time frame that Tom outlined. The shuttle driver was prompt, friendly, and as usual, "went the extra mile in service & pleasantness." I always look forward to my dealings with the people @ Rancho Grande Motors...I look forward to my purchase of my next needed vehicle from them in the next couple of years... More
Rancho Grande Motors in San Luis Obispo is absolutely the best!!! I had set aside a whole day to check out different dealerships in my area for a used car, but needed to look no further once I had arrived he best!!! I had set aside a whole day to check out different dealerships in my area for a used car, but needed to look no further once I had arrived here. They have a great selection of both used and new cars and the staff is wonderful. My sales guy, Shane Traver, was extremely helpful and professional as well as knowledgeable. He asked what it was that I was looking for and showed me different options based on of my needs. He helped me find the perfect car, a 2008 Nissan Altima Hybrid, which I LOVE!! When it came to purchasing it, I was so glad they were able to work with me since my credit is not exactly what you would call desirable. Searching for and purchasing a car, used or new, can be time consuming as well as overwhelming, but the friendly and very helpful staff at Rancho Grande Motors made it very pleasant and easy! One of the things that impressed me the most was that I was treated like an actual person, instead of just another sale. Many dealerships have staff that can be quite pushy, but not here! So if you are looking to purchase a car make sure that you stop here first, it could be your first and last stop like it was for me! More
I went to this dealership hoping to testdrive a new Subara Forester or Outback. Upon entering the car lot, there were no salespeople visible. I began looking at the new vehicles on the lot thinking t Subara Forester or Outback. Upon entering the car lot, there were no salespeople visible. I began looking at the new vehicles on the lot thinking that someone would come out to help me. I went as far as sitting in one of the Foresters on the lot, adjusted the seat, opened every door, and still no one came out. So I went to the showroom where one salesperson speaking on his cell phone almost knocked me over as I opened the door to go inside and he apparently was on his way out. I then proceeded to wait by the desk as there appeared to be a salesman trying to sell a car to a couple at sitting at a table. At no time did anyone acknowledge my presence by saying hello or we'll be with you in a moment, nothing at all. I waited over 3 minutes for some kind of acknowledgement, but got none. It was if I did not exist. I was quite perturbed, but decided to give the car lot one more try. I began looking at the Forester again as I saw a salesman coming back with a couple from a test drive of a Hyandai. I thought perhaps I could get his help, but as I tried to approach him he turned his back on me and walked in the other direction. I toyed with the idea of taking the vehicle for a test drive by myself as the keys were in the side pocket of the vehicle, but did not do it as I am sure that they would have called the cops for me stealing the vehicle. I came to the conclusion that I was treated so poorly or not even acknowledged because I was a lone woman shopping for a car, since the other people that were being helped were couples. Needless to say I would not recommend this dealership to anyone looking for any type of customer service. I can only imagine what you would be treated like after they already had your money! More
