I bought a 2025 Subaru Outback from Ranch Grande Subaru brand new. When I got home my wife and I noticed the hood had three dents. I came back the next day to show them and they said we will take care of i brand new. When I got home my wife and I noticed the hood had three dents. I came back the next day to show them and they said we will take care of it right away. That was two weeks ago, and following several promises from Sales Manger Paras Shukla, and General Manager Chris Wallace, nothing has been done. They refuse to return my calls now. VERY, VERY POOR CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE - I WILL NEVER, EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AGAIN. ANY BUYERS, BE VERY CAREFUL !!!!! More
You can’t get any better service for your Subaru than that from San Luis Subaru!! We have purchased six of the eight Subarus we have owned from this dealership starting in 1970 when it was Weaver Motors that from San Luis Subaru!! The other two were purchased in Ventura ,CA, when we lived there. The service staff at San Luis Subaru is professional, friendly and they know their stuff!! We have never had ANY problems getting a convenient appointment. And the service when we get there is always fast and efficient and we are always completely informed as the what is happening! San Luis Subaru is the VERY BEST!! More

This is our second Subaru. We purchased both new from Rancho Grande Motors/Subaru of San Luis Obispo. Our first Subaru was a new 2019 Ascent Limited. We had it for 5 years, We purchased both new from Rancho Grande Motors/Subaru of San Luis Obispo. Our first Subaru was a new 2019 Ascent Limited. We had it for 5 years, and we purchased our new 2025 Ascent Onyx Touring model and love all the bells and whistles. Subaru has improved the ride, smoother, very nice. Clay was the salesman who helped us with our purchase in 2019 and was so great to work with, so of course, we worked with him when purchasing our new 2025 Ascent. We have always taken our cars in for regular maintenance and everyone is great! We’ve never had a bad experience. Overall, Rancho Grande Motors/Subaru of San Luis Obispo is a great place to purchase a car and for regular servicing. More
This is the second time I’ve purchased a vehicle from Subaru of San Luis Obispo. And I’ll tell you why. Historically, going to dealerships to shop for cars has always been a bit of a nightmare. The moment you walk onto the lot, you get a pushy salesperson in your face. And they don’t really listen to you when you tell them what you’re looking for. And when you get to the point of purchasing the vehicle, it’s a negotiating circus and takes hours to get completed with Financing. Not the case at Subaru of San Luis Obispo. The sales expert, Layton Crittendon, was very easy going and knowledgeable. And he listened to what I was looking for, answered all my questions, and was able to make some great suggestions. I knew I was dealing with a true expert and the final result was that I got an even better offer than what I was expecting. He even suggested that I could probably qualify to lease the vehicle and he was correct! And the Finance Manager, Peter Fiallos, did a great job finding me the best loan offer for my new 2025 Forester. There wasn’t the whole back and forth negotiating of terms you’d expect from most dealerships. It was straightforward and clear. I did mention this was the second time I’ve purchased a vehicle here, and it’s because the first time went the same way. If you love Subaru’s as much as I do, and want a good experience where you’re treated like a valued customer, I highly recommend purchasing your next Subie from Subaru of San Luis Obispo. I know I will. More
the service is great. only complaint is the check in area in driveway area. it it way too small, annoying to stand in the car lanes to wait for help.
