I just had the best car buying experience with the folks at Rallye Motors. I mean, the best! I am 50 years old, and have driven only Saabs for most of my life. My 9th Saab, a 2002 9-5 Aero Wagon needed r at Rallye Motors. I mean, the best! I am 50 years old, and have driven only Saabs for most of my life. My 9th Saab, a 2002 9-5 Aero Wagon needed replacing, and I found a great 2007 9-5 Sportcombi wagon on Rallye's website. I currently live in Birmingham, Alabama, so after having a great and very humorous conversation with Ralph on the phone, I drove up in a rental car two days ago, met Ralph, saw and drove the car, and then spent a long time getting to know Ralph, and his extensive history in the car business. He is brilliant, funny, and one of the few people I've ever met who knows more about Saab than I do! I went over the few things that the car needed, and he immediately arranged with his mechanic and his upholstery specialist to replace the rotors, and eliminate a slight discoloration on the passenger seat leather. As I was staying overnight, he suggested places I could stay and insisted on picking me up at the airport rental office the next morning, where I was to return my rental car. Although we had set up that I would call him from there, Ralph was waiting for me the next morning at 7:30 at National Car Rental! We went for breakfast, headed to Rallye and effortlessly took care of the paperwork, and then, since the rotors for the Saab had to come down from Dayton, and would take a little while to be transported, Ralph suggested an area of Cincinnati, Mt. Adams, that would be fun to explore. He lent me one of his cars, a beautiful Volvo, and drew me a map to get me there. When I came back, the car was done, and it was perfect. When I say perfect, I mean that except for the tiniest signs that someone else had owned this car, it could have been new! I've bought used cars from dealers before; many times. Nothing I've experienced is even in the same ballpark with Rallye Motors. Buying a car is expensive, and can be stressful. I feel like I was with professionals who really know what they're doing, have been doing it for a long time, and make the experience into a wonderful one. I would not only recommend Rallye Motors to anyone seeking a quality used car, I would recommend them for anyone seeking a quality used car experience. And, unless I'm mistaken, I think that includes everyone! Wherever you live, however far you have to travel, call and then visit Rallye Motors. I'm not someone who normally takes the time to write reviews. I couldn't wait to write this one. They were that helpful to me! More
Contacted them via e-mail about 2003 truck they had for sale. Went to dealer and saw truck and it was in very good condition, one owner. Let salesman know had same type truck for trade but in fair condit sale. Went to dealer and saw truck and it was in very good condition, one owner. Let salesman know had same type truck for trade but in fair condition, but that it was on it's last legs. It was a 1994. Wanted to buy truck for husband for xmas. Called day bf xmas and said we'd be there with trade day after. Called salesman & went there. We live 1/2 hour away. We drove truck came back and he was talking to another couple who didn't seemed pleased about price. He asked my husband what he wanted for his truck. He said $1,000. Salesman said well he needed to replace carpet and clean up interior more. My husband agreed, he liked the truck and he wanted to buy it. He agreed. My husband asked what total price would be and my husband agreed to price. Salesmand said, "Oh, wait let me drive it down the block." My husband went out with him. He started it up. He asked my husband if there was anything wrong with the motor, because when he gunned it, it was ticking. My husband has driven that truck back & forth to work and wherever. My husband said no he didn't know if anything major was wrong with it. The salesman, said, "Well, neither do I". He & my husband came back in. The salesman, is saying loudly, "I can't take that for trade. I can't do anything with it. The deals off." He gave my husband back his keys as they were walking in, didn't look at me. Picked up the other trucks keys and walked out and started to move the 03 truck back to where he had it parked. He didn't say Oh, I can't take it for trade, or Oh, I can only give you so much. Do you still want to buy the truck? He was mad cos the other couple were giving him xxxx, plus left while he was looking at ours, and then when our truck didn't measure up and it was about 10 mins past closing time, he decided to get a burr in his side and acted like a jerk and treated us like we were xxxx. DON'T DEAL WITH THEM. More

ALSO THEY LET ME ROAD TEST THE VEHICLE THAT I BOUGHT TWICE FOR MORE THAN 45 TO HOUR AT TIME. ALSO THEY HAD NO PROBELM LETING ME TAKE THE VEHICLE TO MY REPAIR SHOP TO HAVE CHECK OUT. MY SHOP COULD FIND NO PROBLEMS WITH THE VEHICLE. THE VEHICLE WAS VERY CLEAN AS WAS ALL THE VEHICLES ON THE LOT. WHEN I DID MY HOMEWORK ON PRICING VEHICLE PRICE WAS PRICED VERY FAIR FOR THE VEHICLE THAT YOU GOT. THE VEICLE HAD 33,000 MILES ON THE VEHICLE I BOUGHT AND NOW HAS MORE THAN 180,000 MILES NOT NOW, AND I EXPECT TO GET ANOTHER 80,000 TO 100,000 FROM THE VEHICLE THAT DAN SOLD ME. More
Called about selling a car after a friend told me about what good guys they were at Rallye's. I spoke to two employees- neither of whom identified themselves by name. Gave very brief description of the c what good guys they were at Rallye's. I spoke to two employees- neither of whom identified themselves by name. Gave very brief description of the car and answered his questions. And then he asked "what I need to get for it". When I told them ballpark asking price (which was typical trade in price for our area), I received a curt "not from me" & hang up. No explanation or even a good-bye. Hey, I'm perfectly OK if they don't want to buy it- they are in business to make $ and if they can't do it with my car then they shouldn't buy it. But I do expect a little bit of courtesy when I'm talking to them and that's not too much to ask. I know somewhere I won't be going when I need to buy a car- Rallye's. With customer service like that, I'd never be sure that they were going to stand behind a sale. More
