I came in for my door to be repaired and that only. The first service advisor asked if I was interested in the maintenance service. I said no. He asked if I wanted an oil service. I said no. I was only int first service advisor asked if I was interested in the maintenance service. I said no. He asked if I wanted an oil service. I said no. I was only interested in fixing the door. Kevin then called me (a different advisor) at work later in the day to update me on the car. He again brought up the maintenance service. I was not interested. But he pressured me into it, and persuaded me to get it as well as the oil change. I still had 1900 miles to go until the next oil change! I do not drive often which I expressed. My 2004 car has only 33,000 miles on it! It is an old car an quite honestly did not need to get this type of maintenance at a bmw dealership. The cost was just enormous and unnecessary. The service advisors MUST work on some type of commission. The same advisor tried to overcharge me more than $100 on a part I bought at the Bayside BMW Service less then a year before. Not trustworthy! More
Everything was fine. I was basically in and out within a reasonable time. The guys in customer service were friendly and effecient. The quality of work was fine. The employees always remember me and address me by name. I am treated as a VIP even though I did not purchase my BMW at Rallye.
