I had a troubling experience with the BMW dealership in Westbury, NY. I took my vehicle in for a recall repair, expecting a straightforward and efficient service. Unfortunately, the situation quickly deteriorated. After the recall repair, actually leaving the dealership, I started experiencing significant electrical issues with my dashboard—warning lights flickering, erratic display behavior, ABS lights all lit ,and more. What was initially a routine repair became a major problem. I reached out to the dealership and spoke with Adam Romano (assistant service manager) for help, and the issue dragged on for several weeks, having to bring the car in twice, before it was finally resolved. To my dismay, the dealership charged me over $1,000 to fix the problem they caused. It feels incredibly unfair to be billed such a substantial amount for an issue that arose directly from their repair work. The extended delay and the hefty bill left me feeling frustrated and disappointed with the service I received. In summary, my experience with this dealership was far from satisfactory. What should have been a simple recall repair ended up being an expensive ordeal. I hope the dealership improves their service quality on repairs other than oil changes, inspections, and routine BMW maintenance, for which according to their radio advertisements they are #1, and improve their billing practices to avoid putting future customers in such a difficult position.
