So this weekend I gave them another (2nd) chance at my car. This was seemingly simple. I just needed my key fobs reprogrammed, and they did it. But 5 days later one of them stopped working and I asked the car. This was seemingly simple. I just needed my key fobs reprogrammed, and they did it. But 5 days later one of them stopped working and I asked them to reprogram it. They tried and said the key fob was dead. I assumed the reprogramming would be done as a courtesy because I was not told they would charge me for it. However they wanted to charge me for another programming, and I refused to pay. I did not agree to pay for anything in advance as I assumed they would be doing this as a courtesy. They wanted to sell me a $286 new key fob, and I declined. I just wanted my keys and my car. They said I had to pay. I complained loudly to the service manager and he said I had to pay. I hollered at the service manager, and he said I had agreed to pay in advance and signed the paperwork. I said (yelled) I was told nothing and I signed nothing. He went to check on that, came back and said he would have my keys in a minute. Which he did. There's no third chances for Rairdon Nissan. I will not go back for service, nor for the purchase of a new car or a used car, and I will be telling everybody I can find not to patronize them. I assume they don't want me back anyway since I made a loud scene in their showroom. They could have avoided all of this by just treating me more fairly. More
