Thank you for the response, Jimmy. To provide an update: Service Director Kevin Tranter contacted me by phone on Friday, January 30 and confirmed that the dealership will honor the originally advertised $179.95 transmission service price. He followed up with an email to coordinate scheduling, and I have already replied to arrange an appointment. I appreciate Kevin stepping in to address the issue. However, the concerns in my original review remain accurate. At the time of my visit, the advertised special was not honored and the quoted price jumped from $179.95 to $689. Additionally, the service advisor appeared to be unfamiliar with the specific service requirements for my 2018 Pacifica Hybrid. She quoted a price that included “transmission filter replacement,” even though this vehicle’s transmission does not have an externally serviceable filter and only requires a fluid drain-and-fill procedure. That misunderstanding contributed directly to the incorrect and inflated pricing I was initially given. I will consider the matter fully resolved once the service is completed at the agreed-upon price. I hope this experience leads to clearer advertising practices and better staff familiarity with model-specific service requirements so other customers do not encounter the same issues. Thank you.

Update – Service Completed on 2/11/26 I wanted to provide an update following my recent service appointment. I scheduled a transmission drain-and-fill for my 2018 Pacifica Hybrid on very short notice and arrived on 2/11/26 at 8:55 AM. The service was completed promptly by 10:30 AM—about 1 hour and 35 minutes. The invoice initially showed $440+, but the advertised $179.95 special was applied, resulting in a final charge of $179.95 plus tax (~$197 total). During the appointment, I explained that I was doing preventive maintenance at relatively low mileage (35k) to ensure the transmission lasts after warranty expiration. I greatly appreciate that Service Director Kevin Tranter and the dealership went the extra mile to honor the advertised price and make me feel valued as a customer. The service advisor, Lillian, also acknowledged that the 2018 Pacifica Hybrid does not require removing the transmission pan and that the filter is not replaceable unless the transmission is removed—correcting the prior misunderstanding that led to inflated initial pricing. While my original concerns about advertising inconsistencies and staff familiarity with model-specific procedures remain valid, I want other customers to know that the dealership truly made an effort to rectify the situation. I would certainly return for future advertised promotions, knowing they will honor the price and provide proper service. Based on this resolution, I am updating my review rating from 1 star to 3–4 stars.

It has come to my attention that customers are being charged for services that were not provided and for repairs that failed to resolve the issues with their vehicles. Charging for incomplete work and failing to address reported mechanical problems is unacceptable and highly unprofessional.
