Customer service beginning to end! After a firm decision to change vehicles and a lot of soul searching, our journey started about 14 days before purchase. A decision had been made abo After a firm decision to change vehicles and a lot of soul searching, our journey started about 14 days before purchase. A decision had been made about what vehicle and a base figure established trade-in was decided. The first hurdle to overcome was "what dealer" and how far from home would we travel! Dealer #1, while close to home, quite inventory challenged. Keep in mind that I don't play the game of "oh we can get what ever you want all we need is a few days"! Likewise I don't go to Costco and determine that I will come back in a week to buy a package of steaks! Then there was dealer #2 that provides zero (as in "0") pricing information on the internet. albeit inventory looked adequate! Their attitude is "come on down and we'll always make you a good deal . . .guaranteed!". That is when I moved to dealer #3 and engaged Rich Leavitt at Marysville as the "Internet Sales Manager" thinking that I was going to get a fast talking pitch that would end in more dismay. Over the next several days, with the seeming patience of a saint, Rich answered my every question and provided several options. Then I decided to through the proverbial spanner in the works and demanded 3 specific options without any dealer add-on activity! Lo, and behold, he came up with what would eventually prove to be the exact vehicle I wanted. This is where my stomach started getting queasy because of past experience with the "come on down" approach to car sales. I have been in the new car buying market since 1972 and can shed some dim light on car sales people! We finally bit the proverbial bullet and agreed to come drive said vehicle with hopes of purchase. I had pre-approved financing in hand (for far greater $$$ than my needs) so that was never an issue. The trade-in folks took my vehicle for a ride while myself, my wife, and Rich went for a long ride in the RAM! btw. . . Rich serves very good coffee! Once back to the dealership the offer was actually on paper . . .a small scratch and recover on numbers to agree with and it was of to finance to close the deal! That is when we encountered the most efficient, and charming, person in paper management. I know I will get it wrong, but I cannot omit her name: LeeAnne Bachand. She was/is exceptionally efficient, beyond talented, had has a sense of humor that is second to none. Not once did we hear any noise about someone else waiting, or we were lucking to get in as soon as we did. She made us feel wanted and privileged! About 3 1/2 hours after arrival, many tense moments, miles of floor pacing, and anxiousness to get home . . . . we left in our new RAM 1500 Laramie all the while closing the chapter for the previously owned vehicle. Would we recommend this dealership . . . ? ABSOLUTELY! Efficient, Friendly, Accommodating, Pressure Free! More
Finaly great service from a salesman After going to a few dealerships (wont name them) I happened upon Rairdon's Smoky Point. I was greeted without any pressure from James Potts. He took me thorough the inventory of what I was looking for and what I could afford he was very kind when I had to run and pick up my son. During the purchase of my mini van he had several other staff asking him questions but he handled them and never made me feel ignored. He explained the loan and payment plan so I understood and took me out to show me how the van and all the gadgets worked . I will hold onto his card and will be sending anyone I know who needs to buy a car not only to Rairdons but to James Potts he was the best. More
Great Customer Service! I came in to just look at a few options of cars, as I wasn't sure what I wanted to buy next, and unlike many of the "vultures" I dealt with, the sales I came in to just look at a few options of cars, as I wasn't sure what I wanted to buy next, and unlike many of the "vultures" I dealt with, the salesperson, Kassie, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable, and very good at her job. Although I have not decided exactly what I am going to go with, I am sure I will be returning because of her excellent service!! More

Nightmare from Rairdon My girlfriend and I came into Rairdon to buy a new Charger SRT8. The Rairdon dealership did not have one but they found two out of state that they said we could buy. One of the Chargers was too high priced and it was a red one. The other SRT Charger was a 2013 Black one with red interior. When our salesman showed us the print out of the car and a photo of it, we were told it was a showroom car at a dealership in Idaho. Rairdon said they would sell it to us for $54,000 - we bought it. We waited a week for a call to tell us the car had come in. Rairdon called us on a rainy drizzly day and told us our car was there. We rushed down to pick it up. We trusted that these guys would treat us right and we were WRONG ! Even though it was a nasty day and car was very dirty ( as Rairdon had the Idaho dealership DRIVE our Charger to Smokey Point instead of transporting via truck ) I could see deep scratches on the front drivers fender and closer inspection showed MORE scratches all down drivers side and all over the middle of the hood. These scratches were deep. Patrick Stewart, the General Sales Manager sold us a paint protection package called Cilajet we were told was a $1,000 - $1,200 value for $400.00 and that they would fix the paint. I was skeptical but these guys all seemed nice to begin with so I gave them the benefit of the doubt. My girlfriend dropped the Charger off one day and picked it up at end of day but not before being harassed by ( I believe his name is ) Randy Rouch under the Red Team banner in service. He told my girlfriend when she went to pay that it was much much much more than what we were told, basically calling my girlfriend a liar. It was to dark for her to see if the scratches were gone. It turned out they were not. I went back to dealership and had the General Sales Manager come out and look and he felt the car and told me it didnt even feel like it had been Cilajetted. Patrick Stewart told me they would fix the problem. He had a Tom Truex take care of everything so I walked Tom around the car and pointed out front passenger door window has a frosted spot on it that is actually quite large. Tom said they would handle it all. I forgot to mention also that when the Charger showed up at Rairdon's it had 500 miles on odometer before we ever saw it. The last time I got the Charger back I was so angry as now they had COMPLETELY ruined the paint on this car, there are burn marks from a buffer all over the car and this car is BLACK ! I called back and got Tom Truex and after telling him who I was and the horrible paint on Charger, his reply " I thought we were done with that car " ! I have never been back to the dealership and I have taken car to another dealership near where I moved to that recommended I get a lawyer as we were screwed on this deal. I will tell EVERYONE this story when they look at our Charger. Buyer beware of Rairdon in Smokey Point !!! More

Major waste of time, you know u fill UT the "win a truck" they contact u say we'll u didn't win but we got great deals. Yea ok I'll look. First guy up at smokey point rairdon Rich very nice professional got me to come down looking at a 3.0 eco diesel 1500 tradesman. 35k ish depending on package. I meet with Vince another nice guy I feel welcome I'm interested. We look at some trucks I have to leave emergency. I make future appt. Now the fun begins, rich an vince, text me with a great deal I come in an meet up with James Potts yup this is where I get screwed. Right off the bat no idea why I'm there or knows my name. OK test drive my current truck he says very nice. He keeps my keys, which makes me pause. I ask for my keys an his attitude changes. Says the 3.0 eco sells for 60k at this point I'm done. JAMES says u know supply an demand they going for 60k. I am flabbergasted. James says I'm only selling these for 55 - 60k supply an demand I reply I saw them on ur lot for less. He says "fine go find one I don't wanna waste ur time" an pushes me out of door. BTW James try to deny it I video taped it. I have an audio mic all the time to protect myself. More
Initially, my experience with Rairdon's was ok. My salesperson was nice, he did not provide me with a carfax. He lied to me about the car being in an accident. I had to purchase my own carfax to find salesperson was nice, he did not provide me with a carfax. He lied to me about the car being in an accident. I had to purchase my own carfax to find that out. He told me all the necessary repairs would be fixed on my car in fact they have not been because I still have a crack in the windshield. I guess that was a way to get back at me since my car was not delivered in the timeframe that they specified to me. That should have been my first indicator right there. My check engine light and abs light came own within the first 8 months of me owning the car. And I have only had it for 14 months now. How I digress, my interaction today was the worst. I have called and physically gone to this place for 14 months asking for a spare key. I was told my sales rep they had one he would look for it and get back to me. Well that is what I have heard every month for the last 14. When I finally got someone on the phone like the sales manager Tom Truex, he was very rude. He assumed I wanted a "free" key. I say this because he stated to me since it has been over a year, it was doubtful they had a key (which meant he was not going to look), and he was NOT making a new one. I had not asked him for a new one nor had I implied it. Due to his rudeness my husband got on the phone and tried to ask some questions and Tom hung up on him. Out of the ten plus years I have been in the Customer Service field but as a representative and management, I would never treat a customer this way. Regardless of the timeframe. There is nothing wrong with saying, "we do not have a spare it has been too long, you will have to get a new one made." But it comes down to the way that you say it. Since it was not my fault totally in waiting so long ( I was going on the word of the countless salespeople and secretaries) that they would look for the key (I was told I would get in the first place) and call me back. Neither has been done. Thank you Rairdon Dodge Chrysler Jeep. I will NEVER do business with you again. And I will most certainly NOT refer anyone to you EVER!!!!! If you need a car look somewhere else. Because as you can see even with silly matters they cannot professionally handle their business. More
I was a first time buyer when I found the car I'd been wanting for 12+ years at Rairdon's of Smokey Point. Ken Rankin made my experience a very pleasant one, and was very great about working within m been wanting for 12+ years at Rairdon's of Smokey Point. Ken Rankin made my experience a very pleasant one, and was very great about working within my needs & budget; he was friendly and did whatever it took to get my questions answered. When it came to making the final purchase, everyone involved went out of their way to make sure I had a great experience, and I was even able to meet the owner, who was very friendly and excited for my first time car purchase. I was pleased to receive a courtesy call about 2 weeks after my purchase, making sure things were working out well with the car, and to make sure I was happy with the purchase! It was very clear that these guys really want you to have an excellent buying experience! Going forward, I would definitely consider Rairdon's of Smokey Point for my next car purchase, and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking into buying a new or used vehicle! More
We live 200 miles south of this dealer in Vancouver WA. Rairdon had a truck that we were interested in for about the right price. I spent 3 years looking at trucks and prayed about this one. I'm aware of Rairdon had a truck that we were interested in for about the right price. I spent 3 years looking at trucks and prayed about this one. I'm aware of the Dodge Ram trucks weak areas which the salesmen had no idea about. Transmissions (automatic) and ball joints for those of you who dont know. This was a 2001 2500 diesel with low mileage and stock. We negotiated over the phone, made a deposit a few days later, then picked it up Saturday. I'm aware that the dealer has to make money but I want a deal !! I never even drove the truck but went on the testimony of my brother in law who doesn't know about diesels. We were not surprised nor let down upon the pick up. I cannot vouch for the service dept. since we are out of the area. We can vouch for the overall satisfaction of the experience and the sales price. My advice would be to do research, drive your junk car awhile longer, take your time, decide what you really need/want, get an idea of what you'll be willing to spend, monitor the market prices, go get it.We bought the truck in early December of 2012 and are still happy with it. I was told the truck might be gone while negotiating and replied thats fine and another one will come along. Glad things worked out the way they did. We thanked God for this truck which might be a bit more than we anticipated. ( bit more in power and perks) More
