Unpleasant and adversarial from start to finish. Extremely poor service experience. Communication, pricing, labor rate concerns are all problems. Vehicle brought in for service around well-publicized brake failure issue. I felt that the service department was doing the bare minimum to address my concerns to the manufacturer or to answer questions. I also felt that the hours charged for the work were excessive. Price increased from the quoted amount. When I picked up the car, service manager Joel Miller disappeared during the conversation. After waiting an excessive length of time, I simply paid the bill. The cashier handed me the keys to the truck but did not know where the truck was located. I found it in the back of the property and had to drive it out myself. I stopped at the service bay to discard the carpet protector and window tag that the service techs used. The experience was unpleasant and adversarial from start to finish. EDIT: I was just notified of a recall (GM recall number: N192268490). According to the recall information, this issue is software related, not a parts problem. This dealership charged me $728 to replace a part that did not need to be replaced and, given the recall, STILL did not fix the problem. More
A Very Positive Experience My visit to the service center was the first with my 2019 Buick Accord. I arrived early at 7:15 and was the first customer of the day. I was greeted with a smile by Sena Spinks, the service advisor, who took care of the paperwork, and assured my wife and me that the oil change, tire rotation and checkup would be done in about an hour. We went to the Fat Spoon for breakfast, and when we returned, the car was just about ready. So a 5 star rating from me. Sena gets high marks for her attitude and efficiency. She is an excellent representative for Rainbow. My Encore is a great car. Handles well, has good gas mileage (28 mpg) and has had no problem for the first 6000 miles. More
