In searching the lot, I ultimately settled on a Subaru Ascent Onyx Edition that would be a great fit for our family. The team appraised my vehicle, and we started discussing the pricing of the Ascent. We settled on a great price, and I got a babysitter at our house to watch my kids while I drove the vehicle to my wife so she could see and test-drive it. She was amazed at the features and how great the car felt and drove. We settled the terms when we returned to the dealer and signed our offer letter. After a rough car buying experience recently, we were super excited and happy to move forward with this purchase. After signing the deal and having our credit checked, we were approached by the manager. The manager said there was a mistake, and the Ascent we test-drove and signed the offer on was a much higher trim level, and it would cost us an additional 5,000$ to purchase that vehicle. They offered us a lower trim level at the cost we expected to purchase this vehicle, but it wasn’t the same. Given the circumstances, the manager mentioned reaching out to upper management about the error and seeing if they would make an exception for us, but they declined. While I fully expected to leave today with a car, we lost a full day of effort and points off of our credit scores. We loved the Ascent and will likely purchase one, just not from this dealership. More

Really tried to hold it together when swamped on a Monday morning. My service was great. Had to pay the usual deductible/ diagnostic fee but only once. Had to return to fix the navigation issue.
