Just writing a few words to say how impressed i am with the customer service at Quirk Kia, Jorge Reyes did a wonderful job helping me pick the right car for me.... It is so bad I do not even know where to start, from taking a test drive and thinking I am making a deal on the car that I drove (which after signing papers the sales man comes over to tell me your car will be here in a few days) I said what do you mean, the car is right there?? He said for the price you are getting we can’t give you that car. I let that go, then after waiting a week for the new car I drive it off the lot to find out it is making noises at high speed, they asked me to bring it in so they can check it out. During the conversation of bring the car in I was told that I would need to rent a car from them and that I was the one that needed to pay for it, I became very angry and used a few words that I should not have used and the sales person on the other end hung the phone up on me (this happened about 3 times). Now even angrier I had to start haggling to try to make a deal on a rental and this is after the fact of trying to haggle a good deal on a new car, the sales man said well!! I will pay for the rental only if you say on our survey that we did a great job selling you a new car, I said I will think about it. He then continued to say that the survey was their bread and butter and he wanted to make sure I gave them a positive review. I was completely appalled that he would even want me to give them a great review after hanging the phone up on me. I take the car in to get it serviced and now I am driving a rental for 3 days after purchasing a new car, of course they are absolutely horrible at customer service that it took 2 days for them to tell me I was going to need to stay in the rental for one more day. I explained to them that this is absolutely ridiculous and being very upset I used a few more words I should have not used and but of course the sales man on the other end hangs up the phone on me (this happened another 3 more times) he said he was a Christian and that he did not like the fact I used a few bad words. After being treated this way I felt my back was up against the wall and I knew I was not going to get anywhere with any one there including speaking to one of the Mr. Quirks assistants, which by the way one of the man I spoke to was upset that I was trying to go to the top to get my problem solved. I pick the car up, I take a good look at it and the car was extremely dirty, it was left with an empty gas tank and they drove it 250 miles more then when I took it in to get serviced and of course it is still making the noise, so I call to tell them that the problem still exist and they tell me to bring it back in. During this conversation on the phone with two different employees both of them tell me maybe you should just have it put under the lemon law and get a new car, I told both of them I can’t believe you are even making that statement to me!! I also said this is a new car I should not have to be going through any of this. Today my car is being serviced for the second time and will be driving a rental that I hope they do not turn around and say I will have to pay for cause I do not even know what to expect for anyone at Quirk Kia. I even went as far as to say to them I will pay little more for a upgrade to exchange the new car and one of the person in charged told me that that might not happen because my car has deprecated in value since I drove it off the lot, I hope you see that this is no place to purchase a new vehicle if you want some type of customer service. I DO NOT RECAMEND THIS DEALER. More
I am always very hesitant on purchasing a car because the process and experience has never been pleasant. I just purchased a 2013 Kia Optima from Quirk Kia in Braintree. Classic deceptive "Bait and Switch" tactic used by this "Dealership". I called and spoke with Carolyn Ball in order to ensure that the car (KIA Forte5 on "sale" for $15,388 was actually in stock a by this "Dealership". I called and spoke with Carolyn Ball in order to ensure that the car (KIA Forte5 on "sale" for $15,388 was actually in stock and available for that special price, before embarking on a 70 minute drive. When I physically arrived at the building, I saw the car I had JUST phoned about with a "SOLD" sign on the dash. I asked for Carolyn and she muttered something about being "Sorry that the car is sold; I didn't know that." Well one or both of two things HAD to have occurred: A, she never checked the status of the vehicle and therefore LIED to me, or B)Did check the status of the car and was Incompetent with figuring out whether or not a car sitting right inside her own dealership was available. Then a man, also standing with Carolyn, who never identified himself or shook my hand, informed me that he was "taking over the sales process (to paraphrase)"; indeed it was not made apparently clear to me who this man actually was. I informed him that I was angry about wasting a trip to find out the car I was interested in was in fact no longer available! He, "Francisco" verbally assured and promised me that he would "make it up to me and apply the same deal to a different Forte or Rio." After all the allegations of Franscisco's "deals", they only consisted of FULL RETAIL prices and did not reflect ANY discounts, this bewildered me further. At least Francisco had the courtesy to eventually inform me that "The numbers weren't going to work unless I had much more money to put down." That was the only honest experience I had with Quirk KIA. After my experience I simply cannot recommend Quirk KIA for a vehicle purchase. More
