Bought my 2019 Ram 2500 at Quirk brand new. Live over an hour away and have taken my vehicle there twice for the radio screen going gray. Showed them a picture also the second time. First time Live over an hour away and have taken my vehicle there twice for the radio screen going gray. Showed them a picture also the second time. First time an update was done and was told this was what was recommended by Ram. This was done about two months ago at 8,600 miles on it. I had explained to them the radio only goes gray and shows nothing when it gets cold out. Thought it may be fixed. Brought it back two months later due to the screen and radio going gray again and told them again it happens when it gets cold out below freezing. This appt was also scheduled with the service manager calling me and telling me he would need to pull the radio out to get the number off the back of the radio to order one. Got to my appt and waited over an hour in a half for my vehicle to be moved from the drop off bay. I was told even though I had a scheduled appt that all the mechanics were still at lunch. My appt was at 1 pm and it was now 2:30. I asked twice due to having a scheduled appt and was told I would just need to wait. A female receptionist who was very polite even went to check and stated they were still at lunch. An employee from the service area even came out and laughed and said all are still at lunch. I did not find this funny at all after this wait but I was polite and said ok. I was then told about two hours after I got there that they had checked the radio and that it showed the same code it had showed the first time I brought it in and that they did not know what was causing the radio issue. I was told the plow that was installed by a Boss dealer with the ground may be it but that they did not know. I asked if they could check the ground and was told they did not have time. I also told them the radio going gray and not working had happened before the plow was installed and this was told to them the first time I brought it in to them. I then asked if they pulled the radio out to check it and he stated that he needed to check the paperwork. I asked for him to please check and asked to talk with the Service Manager Wayne. He came out and said "Yes" I was taken back and said what he had told me when he called me when I set up the appt. He said he could not do anything unless the screen went gray and did not function in front of him. I explained it does not happen that often and told him I had the pictures to show him and had shown the counter service rep which also showed the dates the pictures were taken. I was told by Wayne that he was not going to put a $1000 radio in my vehicle unless he is sure that was the problem. I told him how else could I show him what happens and he said he did not know. He then asked if I was done. I told him I was not happy and would be contacting Ram and he said go a head. The service counter person then brought me my key and I asked for a copy of the paperwork of what they had done and he refused to give it to me or show me. Granted you sign paperwork when you drop off your vehicle to agree for work to be done and are given paperwork back when you leave which I was denied. This vehicle also only has a little over 10,000 miles on it. I was also told when I arrived originally that there was a recall on the tailgate and it was unknown if it was checked or fixed due to me not given any paperwork on what they did to my truck. With the radio going out intermittently I also have no backup camera or phone system through the vehicle. I will be contacting Ram and will never bring my vehicle back to them again. More
Bought a Ram Laramie from Rodney Morneault. Had a great experience. Beautiful vehicle with no issues. Upon completion of the lease, we bought it! No issues and great service after the sale. Stay away! Look for a reputable mechanic. Explicitly told Dale what was going on with lights on dash. Already had 1 wheel sensor replaced in front. Now the rear one was replaced and bearings. Got a call car Dale what was going on with lights on dash. Already had 1 wheel sensor replaced in front. Now the rear one was replaced and bearings. Got a call car was ready. A thousand dollars later driving an hour to pick it up and low and behold 1 of the lights remains on. He told my daughter he remembered our discussion on this new light on. Lied to my face. Needless to say I was not a happy customer. Quirk Jeep is history. They will try and weasel their way out of their mistakes. Never again! Screw me once shame on you! It'll never happen again More
I leased a Ram in 2019. The whole sales experience took way too long. They didn’t even know what was available and what was not. But that’s not the worse part of it. The truck has many paint defects and sh way too long. They didn’t even know what was available and what was not. But that’s not the worse part of it. The truck has many paint defects and should have never left the factory in that condition. Wish I had inspected the truck closer, but you expect it to be defect free. And have never been contacted by anyone at the dealership to see how I was doing. They will never get my business again. 1.5 years and still can't fix my Pacifica's issues I have been taking my 2018 Pacifica (which was purchased brand new) to Quirk for service since I purchased the vehicle. I have had issues with the UCo I have been taking my 2018 Pacifica (which was purchased brand new) to Quirk for service since I purchased the vehicle. I have had issues with the UConnect system since day 1 and have had it into Quirk 8-10 times for them to diagnose and try to fix the issues. I was initially told by the service manager that he did not think there was really anything wrong with the system and that it was my fault because I had a USB connected to the system with my iPhone and that I was trying to do too much with the system before it had time to load. After several more visits, he was able to finally get a couple of codes from the system and I was able to show him one of the issues with the back up camera. Over the past 1.5 years, they have made several software updates and once changed a video converter. However, I continued to have issues with the UConnect system. Recently, while on vacation, I took the Pacifica to another dealership in another state who was unable to get the system to take an update and ultimately stated the radio needed replaced. I was unable to have the other dealership change the radio as my vacation ended, but I took the write up from the dealership to Quirk where the service manager refused to just change the radio and wanted to continue to do their 'process.' Well, after 1.5 years of their 'process' with no resolution I had had enough and I told the service manger off. I regret the way I made my feelings known to him but I do not regret the message. In short, Quirk has had 1.5 years to diagnose and fix my vehicle but have not done so. They wanted to continue their 'process' and wait for 'updates' for who knows how long. More
Will not stand by service work. Vehicle was serviced for a recall in Nov 2013 with 38429 miles, Safety recall N08/NHTSA 13V-038 Rear Axle Pinion Nut. The recall required a lock nut Vehicle was serviced for a recall in Nov 2013 with 38429 miles, Safety recall N08/NHTSA 13V-038 Rear Axle Pinion Nut. The recall required a lock nut to be installed as the rear axle pinion nut were reported to loosen due to undersized pinion shaft splines which results in the rear axle to seize and cause the drive shaft to separate and stop vehicle. On 5/24/19 at 0030 hours this same vehicle with 64084 miles had the rear axle seize and drive shaft separate and fall to the ground and vehicle immediately come to a stop nearly going off the road. On 5/30/19 I was informed by a certified Dodge dealer service Manger (Lee Dodge of Westbrook Maine) that the repairs totaling $3361.85 should be disputed as the damage resulted from an improperly done Recall for this issue. The Lock nut was not installed. Numerous attempts to work this issue out with Dodge/Chrysler have been unsuccessful, in fact the Service Regional Manager for both dealers refused to acknowledge the issue and will not contact me to discuss. She refused claiming I may have had work done and the pinion nut removed. Up until this mechanical failure I was under the impression that the vehicle had a lifetime drive tran warranty and would of never paid for work to be done. Lee was great, Quirk and Chrysler don't care to help their customers. More
