It took them over 2 months to replace the engine which after 30 days they were supposed to have to buy it back. The repair job has been a nightmare. The truck randomly wouldn't start after stranding me multiple times found out they didn't tighten the power wire to the power control module, truck was sputtering and losing power they tried to tell me I had to get premium gas from only Irving or sunoco and that I was causing the problem, turned out the coil wires were bad. I go to turn on my ac last week no ac they forgot to recharge the ac. And my exhaust has been louder since the engine swap. Horrible service and they don't try to do anything to make it right but they'll pretend they will in responses to reviews trying to save face. Don't go to Quirk. More
My vehicle was originally serviced for a basic oil change, first service on the truck (i believe it was on 9/14). Had no issues with my vehicle since leasing it in January. Had less than 7300 miles on change, first service on the truck (i believe it was on 9/14). Had no issues with my vehicle since leasing it in January. Had less than 7300 miles on it in 9 months. I do NOT drive much. Since the oil change, I had barely driven 30 miles by that Saturday. I left my home to take my kids apple picking (in town, less than 4 miles from my house). On the way there I noticed the truck was 'stuttering' or misfiring. By the time I made it all the way to the apple orchard my truck had begun making a tapping noise, and a very loud banging noise. I could tell right away that something was wrong with the engine and it sounded like it was out of oil. We proceeded to do our apple picking, and then I went home immediately. The longer I drove it, the louder it got; and please remember, this is less than four miles away; It began making the tapping noise even while idling and the banging noise increased as I drove. much more aggressive. I let the truck sit for about 20 minutes then we checked my oil. There wasn't oil. Yes, you read that correctly. The dip stick came out with barely a drop (quite literally) on the ball of the dip stick. I do have a video. I had it towed to the dealership for service using my roadside assistance, as its a lease. I spoke to the service manager, Chris. He informed me that we were just down a quart of oil, maybe two. I must have read the dipstick wrong. That the noise was caused by a factory defect on the lifters and its all covered under warranty. He wouldn't touch the truck until I got there so he could prove to me that there was actually oil put in the truck. I was working, got there about an hour later. he, or another service member, put oil in the truck and moved it out back. So, not only can I not prove any longer that the thing was empty, but he is insistent that my husband and I simply don't know how to read a dip stick. That we were just low. Even if that WERE the case, it had only been in the service deptartment four days earlier, shouldn't be low by any amount. AND, if he knew about this bulletin put out by GM, why wouldn't he check on this in my vehicle while its there for service FOUR DAYS EARLIER. he is covering his service departments xxx by lying to me and using the factory default on the lifters to fix the problem. He's dishonest, has no integrity, and was completely demeaning to me as a woman and customer. I told him as much. Not only this, but in the end he didn't even give me a vehicle that would safely fit my whole family of four. I had planned on buying this truck when its lease ran out, but there is NO way I can do that now. I have absolutely no faith in the service department at Quirk or that my engine isn't damaged. No telling what kind of long term effects this has caused on my engine. I will NEVER use the service department at the Quirk dealerships ever again. The nice man who helped me when I had to pick my truck up told me straight up that the service department has been having a lot of issues and that I should make sure to tell someone at corporate so they can finally get some help down there. I am unbelievably disappointed that I now will have to start all over again with a different vehicle when my lease is out, after having built up all that equity with my payments. This is not an inexpensive little sedan. Its a pickup truck, and has large payments. I will also have to find a different dealership to do my service. Quirk is so convenient to my home location. the inconvenience is minor, but still an inconvenience none the less. My trust in mechanics and the Quirk service department is tainted forever, non existent at this point. I will continue to let others know as well not to use that service department if they want to keep their vehicles safe! I certainly hope to receive some kind of response from the GM Corporate office about this as its a major problem when you have all those vehicles running through there. Who knows how many are driving unsafe without even knowing it!! More

First issue was they rotated my tires and said 2 of the lug nut covers broke when they removed them. they showed me the covers and it looked like the tech. stepped on them , they were flattened out. How dose that happen when they are stuck onto the lug? Second issue was 4X4 differential package where they said they remove the covers and clean the gears. After I spent over $250 for the service I asked how things looked, they said they could not tell because they vacuum out the oil and just add new. That was not what was quoted. The service manager was nice enough to do it over again they way they sold it to me but that required I lose another 4hrs. of my time to Quirk waiting. The final straw was replacing my AC compressor, made an appointment for 8:00AM and at 11:00Am I called to see how it was going. Now remember I ran over there at 7:30AM to drop off for an 8:00Am appointment, at 11:00Am they were just taking my vehicle in for service. I had made plans because they said earlier in the week it was a 3-4 hr job. I had to cancel my plans and at 3:00PM called to see if it was done. They said I might have to leave it because the shop was closing at 4:00PM and they might not get it done, no wonder they took it in 3hrs later than promised. On this visit they also told me on their 27 point inspection I had 7 mm left on my front brake pads. Mind you I have 157,000 miles on these pads. now just this week I went back for oil change and they suggested a brake job because I now have 3mm on the front pads. DO NOT TRUST the 27 POINT INSPECTION, it is useless. Unfortunately service has gone way down at Quirk in 2017:( : More

Had some miscommunication and some ups and downs in the beginning getting to the resolution. Again this was due to the rarity of the defect and what steps to take. GM was indicating that it might not be covered as a warranty item. When this was relayed to me i will admit i lost my cool. I was having an issue understanding why it wouldn't be covered. Miguel (Service Manager that was on duty that day works over at the Chevy Building) was the poor soul to deliver the information. This was on the weekend so we had to wait for the regular work week to talk to GM. I left in quite the hurry and not in a great mood. Zackary Josephs (Sales at GMC) spoke with me after and went back and talked to Miguel. They both were on the same page as me (although i wasn't willing to accept it at the time). Zackary made sure that i was calm, and in the end fully satisfied. Miguel spent the first part of the next week battling with GM on my behalf and inevitably got the part and labor covered. I brought my truck in early in the morning (expecting that job and a few others that we had to have done, oil, recall etc..) and they not only took care of everything, they got the work done quickly. I am beyond satisfied, not only with the work but more with the customer service displayed by both Zackary and Miguel. It is easy as a customer to become upset when you don't understand all the things these people have to do to satisfy what seems like a simple request. So thank you to both for putting up with me and going to bat for your customer, even when the customer has already lost their mind. More
Almost $2k later and check engine is still ON!!! Went in for check engine light. They did $1500 worth of work to gas tank and service. ($1100 gas tank, 400 service). Engine light came on next day. Went in for check engine light. They did $1500 worth of work to gas tank and service. ($1100 gas tank, 400 service). Engine light came on next day. Went back and they said it was purge valve so another $200. Engine light back on next day. I decided to change the gas cap myself. Engine light has been out for a week now. I am filing a claim against this dealership. They had my car for 2 days and failed to notice a transmission leak that was very obvious. Never go here. They just want your money. The friendly act they play is a ploy to get you to feel better about spending money. STAY AWAY!!! More

The slimy sales manager Manuel sent Meghan to tell me I needed a 90 dollar al8gnment. It should have been covered under the lease and he had her lie to me and tell me it wasnt. He also had her try to sell me new headlights. This is a virtually new vehicle. Completely dishonest department. Now I'm told it's too late to get my money back even though they scammed me!! Don't do business here! They will rip you off! More

Initially I had a good experience with them, however when I started having an issue with my truck they proved to be very unprofessional to deal with. It seems that GM is having a major issue with vibration with their 2015 and 2016 vehicles. Both the dealer (Quirk) and GM are aware of this issue but refuse to resolve the issue for their customers. I purchase a $56,000 vehicle that has seats vibrating at 70+ miles per hour. After making a lot of phone calls, I ended up taking a couple new trucks for a test drive to potentially switch out my vehicle. The truck I drove (2015 and 2016) had the same if not worse issue. Finally went for a test drive the customer service rep and he mentioned that my truck was borderline and they won't do anything about it. I would recommend if you need to buy a GM truck, buy it from another dealer, otherwise I would consider going to Ford or Dodge for a more reliable product. More
