Courtney, Thank you for taking the time to share you opinion of our service department. We always strive to make our customer experience great and fully explain repairs. Your car failed NY state inspection for TWO things a crack in the windshield that had entered into the wiper area and when we pulled off a rear wheel you had a rear wheel brake cylinder leaking brake fluid on to the braking surface. NYS has no wiggle room on these safety items and it is required that the vehicle fails the NYS inspection. We quoted you $174 to repair the wheel cylinder and if the other side also need repair YES it would be over $300 including sales was worse case. I also disagree with the NAPA counter persons onion of the repair. To disassemble then assemble the rear brakes and bleed them requires some skilled labor.
