No pressure sales. Pleasantly surprised that I did business at a dealer. Very pleased with the service I received from them and very pleased with my purchase. I dealt with Mike, the sales manager, who really worked with me on price and financing. José and his partner, Mark, were great guys. I didn't feel any pressure from them at all to buy a car. You know, getting cornered into an office, feeling like you are being backed into a wall, getting offers that you can't refuse, etc. Now I wasn't sure I was going to buy this car because it literally was the very first AND the only car I test drove. I can't tell you how this completely violates my M.O. on purchasing things. I'm a really good comparison shopper and my family and friends depend on me to major and even minor purchases. So I was extremely hesitant to buy this car even though it seemed that it was everything I wanted. And to make it even enticing, even though the car's book value was $8k, Mike said he would sell it to me for my asking price of $6k. But then the payments were too large, even with my down payment. I started to look elsewhere. José then kind of bugged me with texts asking if I would buy the car if we got the payments to where I wanted them. I hedged. Again because I still hadn't test drove any other cars. He said to at least come in and give it one more test drive before I dismissed it. I relented and decided to bring my wife with me so she could drive it, too. Now here's the good part: They just got this car in on a trade. They take the trades into the service department where they inspect the car and give it a full detail job. They do want to sell a car that is in good shape. In this car, they replaced a strut. This made the car ride even smoother than before. I decided to buy it. Mike got my payments way down to where I wanted them to be. I gave them a list of everything I wanted fixed before I took possession. They duplicated the fob and extra key, replaced the bad hydraulic hood support rod, replaced a cabin bulb, fixed the courtesy dome lights so that they would perform like they were supposed to, and fix the errant tire pressure monitor. They did everything. I thought that was impressive. Mike, José, and Mark are easy to work with and easy to talk with. Mike is a down to earth guy that has been in this business for a long time. It seems that he has great used car deals on his lot. If I had another $10k I would have bought that really nice Jaguar sports car that was priced several thousand below book. Yes, people, I'm actually recommending that you go to this dealer. More
