It is making a grinding noise when you turn on the AC or Heater and the Mode Actuator is making the noise. All they did was lubricate the doors of the HVAC system. The noise is worse now than before. I truck was sitting at the dealers for 4 days till they looked at it. There was also trash in my truck. Someone left their bank receipt in my truck so who knows if my vehicle was used for PERSONAL business. The quality of the work on vehicles has gone down hill....VERY DISSATISFIED!! Now i have to see who can fix this part for me. For buying a 2024 truck i should not be having this problem! More
My car was purchased new and has been serviced for 14 years at this location but this place has drastically gone downhill over the years. You will spend 15 mins calling and waiting for someone to pick up years at this location but this place has drastically gone downhill over the years. You will spend 15 mins calling and waiting for someone to pick up the phone in the service department. Oil changes are a minimum 3 hour wait. You would think with the amount of oil changes they do that they would have a separate tech dedicated for them but instead you’re in the queue with everyone else. Took my car in today to address an issue that was fixed and noted during my last visit as it resurfaced. Waited 2 hours to be told it was exactly what I mentioned to check when arriving. Got hit with a $189 “diagnostic” fee and told they had no parts on hand for a few days and basically wasted hours and paid $189 to leave with the same issue and nothing done. Past year my car has been misdiagnosed and I’ve paid for parts that weren’t needed. Today was the last straw!!! I will never service my car there or purchase another vehicle from Quebedeaux GMC again. Tired of being ripped off. UPDATE: Brandon from the service department called the next day after this review and explained how there was a miscommunication and he would talk it over with service manager Adam and call me back regarding a refund. Never called back. Called 3 days later to inquire again. Asked for a copy of the diagnostic report since I was charged for this service and never provided anything. Was told there was never one filled out by their mechanics! Brandon said he would call back again, never did. Called a third time, one week later, and was told that since I left this negative review and mentioned I would never come back due to this experience, that he and Adam would not refund me. Somehow this is considered great customer service! Took my car to another mechanic who not only fixed my issue, but mentioned my oil dipstick was bone dry and added 3 quarts. How was this missed on my $189 diagnostic? Because it was never properly done! This is mechanics 101. This is what you can expect from Quebedeaux GMC. I hope ownership sees this post and does the right thing! More
Purchased a used vehicle in January 2024 that slipped through all the cracks. Was never checked out by their service department and was never detailed or ready to be sold. It was as if the previous owner through all the cracks. Was never checked out by their service department and was never detailed or ready to be sold. It was as if the previous owner just handed it to me. The dealer finally fixed a bad miss in the motor and detailed the car after I had brought it back to them. They still didn't fix the TPM sensor for the driver front tire and still waiting for some other part to come in for them to replace. Now its September and the neutral safety switch went out so I took it back to them and it was covered under the warranty that I purchased, however they didn't finalize the warranty so I had to call them after the warranty people called me. My service writer was Vennie, he is no longer with them. He told me that they would have to order the part and it would take a week to get to them. After two weeks of no communications I tried to reach out to them. The phone would ring and rind and ring. I think I counted about thirty times before someone answered. He asked me to hold because he had 17 people in front of him. After I was placed on hold I hung up figuring that it would be a while and this person called me right back and said he was no longer busy. What happened to the 17 people in front of him. He finally connected me with Vinnie. Vinnie said that the part that came in didn't seem to work right when installed and must have been defective and that another replacement would be there in two days. I explained to hi how a little communication goes a long way and just keeping me in the loop really helps out. So, I waited one more week. That's three weeks now so I called again since I have not heard anything. He said that they were doing the finishing touches on the car and it would be ready Friday or Saturday. This was Wednesday when i called. Friday came around and nothing, Saturday came around and still nothing. Monday Vinnie called and said the car was ready. This is two days shy of a month and I had to do most of the communicating. My wife and daughter when to go pick up the car. Now it's Wednesday and my daughter came over cause she noticed that her license plate was not installed on her car, it was now laying in the back of the car all bent. It appears that at some point during the lengthy stay at Quebedeaux that the license plate was ripped off. The screws are missing and worse, the holes in the plastic are all stripped out. This has got to be the worse dealer for buying used cars and the Service department is equally as bad. They never did any type of safety inspection on the vehicle when they took it in, if they had they would have replaced the worn out brakes. Want a good dealer, go to Tucson Subaru, they normally detail your car or give you a voucher to a car wash when you bring the car in to the service department. My car was even more dirty after picking it up from Quebedeaux to include dirty grease hand prints on the front and back. Why did they even open up the back hatch except to throw in the license plate that they had ripped off. Update: No response from the dealer thus far. The car started acting up again with more problems. It now needs a fuel pump, catalectic converter and cruse control switch. The cruse control switch was promised from the dealer but they still have not got the part. That's odd since VW has it. We will no longer take the car back to this dealer, we will take it to VW. It is there now for the repairs needed, but Quebedeaux still has not registered the warranty, something that I already addressed with them on October 3rd. This dealer is the absolute worst and I have purchased quite a few vehicles in my 58 years. It's frustrating and I would be pulling my hair out if I had any. Will have to go do Quebedeaux in person and demand to speak with someone in charge about this newest situation. Its pretty obvious that they will not do anything about their quality of care. I can promise you that I will never buy another clunker from them. More
Was asked to bring truck in for ONE warranty repair of which the part was ordered and in. Half a day, whole day max for installation of one part. They kept truck 2.5 days. Only had it ready because we sai which the part was ordered and in. Half a day, whole day max for installation of one part. They kept truck 2.5 days. Only had it ready because we said we will be in to pick it up at noon - period. Only one repair was discussed but they did four. Totally not legal unless approved by the owner - warranty or not. When service writer called he advised on someone else's vehicle. Will be taking truck to another dealer in the future. I wrote service for Toyota and Nissan- this isn't how it works. More
