A recall should have been co pmeted, it was not. I called 5 days in advance to ensure I coukd get a loaner or rental. I explained that I cannot be without a car. The man on the phone said he would make a note since my service rep wasn't there. I then called when I was on my to ensure I would get a car, again the man on the phone simply said we have a lot of people here ahead of you so we probably won't have any available. Once I got there I asked about a loaner or rental and my service person said there was none available and GM doesn't authorize rentals for this work. I have a case with GM and she told me it is completely up to the dealer to issue a loaner or a rental. My service person said I can get you back to work on the shuttle, where are you going. I told him Bonsall, he said that's too far. So, I had to drive away without the recall being completed due to this. Completely unacceptable since I did everything I could ahead of time to be sure I could get back to work in a timely manner. Complete fail on the dealers end. I will be taking it somewhere else for this warranty work. More
