I did have a cosigner who leased before however I am a new leaser and the financial guy didn't really explain everything to me. Didn't even explain where and when I have to make payments! I loved working with Scott but the financial guy, can't remember his name, didn't make the experience personal or explain everything I need to know. It was overall a good exerience and I LOVE my car! Seamless! I have never had a more seamless car leasing experience until today at Chevrolet of Englewood. I walked into the dealership on Saturday afternoon I have never had a more seamless car leasing experience until today at Chevrolet of Englewood. I walked into the dealership on Saturday afternoon and was greeted by Scott Mintz. From the moment we said hello he put me in control of the entire process. He asked me what I was looking for, and after a brief discussion he showed me the Equinox. He was so knowledgeable about all of the features but at the same time let the vehicle speak for itself. He brought my wife and I out for a test drive and when we got back to the dealership he was, once again, so respectful of having me be in control. There was never any pressure. I told him I was interested in the car and we negotiated a price. I have leased several cars in the past and a staple of sales representatives are the endless walks back and forth between the mysterious person behind the wall. Not with Scott - he is a straight shooter. How refreshing. No back and forth - he brought me a sheet and I was sold. The deal was fair and he did not once try to up-sell me on anything. We signed all of the paperwork and we agreed to meet on Monday to facilitate the pick up. He handled everything. Seriously, everything: speaking with my insurance agent, setting me up with the Chevy app, and coordinating the return of my previously leased vehicle. Throughout the day he was texting me updates to make sure we were all set for our evening pick up. I called him at one point during the day and I asked what else needed to happen and he said, "I took care of it all." When I got to the dealership he was literally standing outside waiting for me, excited to get me in my new car. You can tell he feels so rewarded getting people into their brand new cars. After taking care of a few last minute paperwork issues he sat me in my car and went through every single feature for me, enthusiastically answering all of my questions. After it was all said and done I went inside, signed all of my paperwork, and instead of getting a three-foot-long lease contract I was presented with a USB drive with all of the documents. 21st century car buying. I never thought that the car leasing experience could be so pleasant. I am delighted to have met Scott and look forward to leasing my next vehicle from him in 36 months!
