Dealership = Stealership I live near this dealer. Went in about 18 months ago looking for a year or so old F150. Found almost the exact truck i wanted and then was "berated" I live near this dealer. Went in about 18 months ago looking for a year or so old F150. Found almost the exact truck i wanted and then was "berated" for trying to argue down the price. So.... i went online, found the truck i wanted at the price i wanted and drove to DC to buy it (strike 1). Then we had to have service for a recall. During the recall repair, there were complications so they needed the truck for an extra day (they were affecting the repairs but didn't call us to let us know...) (ball 1). Last week my cruise control stopped working (at 38K miles, just 2k over warranty). They tell me it's been "turned off in the computer." Great?! They charged me 2 hours ($220) for this "repair" and tried to charge me for a hazardous waste disposal fee as well. To top it all off, i asked if the computer was part of the drivetrain and therefore still under warranty. The answer was: your computer isn't broken, you must have used a ford scanner or a tuner to turn the cruise off. UMMM... if i used a scanner or a tuner to turn it off, wouldn't i have just turned it back on? Wont be back. Already figured out where the next closest Ford dealership is More

Two Amazing Purchases, 2 years in a row! Today I purchased my second vehicle in two years here at Purvis. Last year I got a great deal on a brand new F150, and today, I walked out with a bran Today I purchased my second vehicle in two years here at Purvis. Last year I got a great deal on a brand new F150, and today, I walked out with a brand new Explorer for my wife. Both experiences were outstanding, and I am proud to call Purvis my local dealer. They are respectful, helpful, and beyond all, not just there to make the sale. They let you buy on your time, and are there to answer any questions you may have. The Explorer I purchased today was not in their inventory, so they found one in Pennsylvania and brought it back for me; and still worked out a great deal. If you're looking for a new Ford, look no further. You found your dealer. I will return to Purvis for my next new car purchase, and will continue to use their Service Department for all maintenance on my F150 and Explorer. Unfortunately we have had the most unpleasant experience with this dealership. in 2016 we purchased a new 2016 Ford Escape Titanium. After having this vehicle for a few months we noticed a rattle coming from the back, we made a appointment for 8am on the first available appointment ,explained to the service writer what was going on and he said they would take a look. We received a call near their closing time to tell us they could not find anything. We picked up the car after hours, the radio was blasting, which tells me they never even listened for a noise and as soon as we drove the car 100 ft we could hear the sound. The next morning be bought the car back and had a service tech ride with us, within 50 ft he said he could hear the noise. They ordered the part and told us it would be in within 2 days. A week pasted and we did not hear from the dealership so I called and was told the part was in. We set up another appointment for 8 am and was told it would be done in 2 hours. After 5 hours waiting we called from a place we had lunch only to be told they do not have the part. So now we must wait till they have the new part and start this adventure again.. My biggest problem with this dealership is they lack respect for the customers time. A simple phone call would have been easy to make. I guess they figure they have enough business and ours is not needed. More

Even though we live very close to Cowles Ford in Woodbridge we drove all the way down to Fredericksburg. Do not go to Cowles Ford. They don't have any answers, they are lazy and overcharge you on everything. More

He always explainers how long it would probably take, when it's finished he explains what was done. Very friendly. I differently recommend their service department and the Dealer Ship part as well, we have purchased three vehicles from the them they have always been very friendly and honest. More

What A Mess Purvis Found I had purchased a 2016 Lincoln MKX with no bad reports on the Carfax. When Purvis replaced a headlamp assembly they uncovered a huge mess that a prior I had purchased a 2016 Lincoln MKX with no bad reports on the Carfax. When Purvis replaced a headlamp assembly they uncovered a huge mess that a prior dealer/owner had covered up. The car was actually in a front end collision and was put back together with tape, epoxy and left for junk. The Service Manager worked with the situation with a professional, knowledgable and extremely helpful attitude, which lessened the pain and disgust I was feeling over buying a vehicle that had been wrecked and hidden. Prior to this visit, I had visited with a sales agent there to go over the features of the car. Although I did not buy the car at Purvis, he took the time to sit with me and go over the car in its entirety, which he certainly did not have to do. Two thumbs up to Purvis on Sales and Service!
