I saw a Ford Focus I wanted to buy here I test drove it and said I wanted to have it inspected they said they encourage buyers to get used cars inspected> This was on a saturday I said I would get the car around 10am and get it inspected so I went to the bank and got the cash to buy the car first and at 9:45 I get a text from Lexi Anderson saying someone was driving the car I was 5 minutes from the Dealer to pick it up for inspection then I get another text the car was sold right out from under me Lexi promised the car was on hold. The Sales agreement which I didnt sign as it had 3 add on warranties I didnt agree to one for tires and wheels $1695.00, and one for $998.00, I didnt agree to and the useless Assurrant warranty which no Ford Dealer would honor for a total of $17,363.62 for a nine year old car with a retail price of $11,000.00 to begin with I have a list of each Ford Dealer that said they will not Honor that Assurrant warranty. To all Veterans and Senior citizens BOYCOTT this Dealership as they will stab you in the back and turn on you as they did on me the car price started at $11,000.00 and went to $17,362.63 a $6300.00 increase all documented on their sales proposal. I did have a OEM Ford warranty lined up it just needed to be inspected. This is a bad business thats why they are on 8 Mile with all the other "B' Dealers To all Veterans and Senior Citizens do not do business with this place they do not respect customers and will take advantage any chance they get! They refused to return my calls to discuss this disgraceful act of so called Business as usual behaviour. You have been Warned! I will update as needed also!! More
I will never buy a Honda from a DEALER ever again. The CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) program is a FRAUD. There is a 182 point check-list and Pure Honda will “pencil whip” most of it. To wit: 1) my tire The CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) program is a FRAUD. There is a 182 point check-list and Pure Honda will “pencil whip” most of it. To wit: 1) my tires were not rotated prior to sale according to tire store which patched a flat 2) my cabin air filter was checked after 5 months of ownership and EVERY PLEAT was loaded with dirt/debris, so it was NOT checked in accordance with CPO checklist. 3) my manuals are for a 9th gen Accord and I have a 10th gen (2022). Totally different! 4) mechanic who did my FIRST oil change found engine shield cut with tin snips. A mechanic at Pure Honda cut the shield to gain easy access to the oil drain plug. Only Pure Honda did the oil changes on my car as it was a one lease-holder vehicle. 5) the locking lug KEY for my Touring was in the glovebox but it was the WRONG KEY. I had a flat tire and had to wait 10 days for the proper key from McGard in Buffalo!!! 6) the coup de grâce: my car had damage to the front cover and passenger door so Pure Honda had a local body shop fix it secretly. They fraudulently never put it on the CarFax and never disclosed it to me. I discovered this damage while washing the car 3.5 weeks after delivery, contacted Pure Honda and they ignored me for MONTHS! Please do not deal with this ROGUE HONDA DEALERSHIP. They will pencil-whip, deceive, stonewall, then lie repeatedly to anyone if they have to. Contact the BBB of Michigan and ask about this specific complaint. They have evidence of the endless lies. I have also filed a complaint with Honda Motors. (Case #16201720 if they will allow access) and the Michigan Consumer Protection Agency. It looks as if a lawsuit may be my only option. More

I scheduled an appointment, rented a car for the day and things went smoothly until i returned to pick up my car and realized my air conditioner suddenly no longer worked. i returned immediately and spoke t things went smoothly until i returned to pick up my car and realized my air conditioner suddenly no longer worked. i returned immediately and spoke to Mr. Howard, my service coordinator, explained my dilema and after spending almost $900.00 which included a cooling system check, was told they did nothing to my air conditioning! i took my vehicle to another car repair facility to find out why my air conditioning stopped working and discovered that the cap for the air conditioning fluid was not screwed back on and the cabin air filter needed changingI a simple fix, but Mr. Howard ignored my concern until I explained that I had to take it elsewhere to have the problem they created rectified. More
Purchased a 2018 BMW X3 M40i from them. They promised me a lot of items that ended up falling through the cracks. Cashier lady was very rude. Threw a fit when I told her I was paying cash for the car. Dealership is very sketchy and zero communication between anyone there. All they want is your money. Service is very slow. Service appointment was set for 2pm. Car didn’t go back until 2:35pm. Also they will try to cut corners and screw you over any “We Owe” forms. They don’t keep their promises legally. Currently in the process of taking them to small claims court. More

I submitted an online request for information about leasing or buying a CR-V, and shortly received a call from Adam. However, I was on another call when he reached out, so I sent him to voicemail. He immediately called me back. I sent him to voicemail again. He immediately called me back for a third time, and this time he left a message. Shortly after, I received a lengthy sales pitch via text message. The next day, he called me while I was in a meeting. Again, I sent the call to voicemail, and, once more, he called me back immediately, this time without leaving a voicemail. Instead, I got another long sales pitch text. This morning was the final straw. He called again while I was in a meeting, I sent it to voicemail. Finally, on the THIRD call, I stepped out of my meeting to answer. I asked him to please not call me again. Adam started speaking over me, but I kept speaking. I emphasized that I did not want him to call again, that they had lost my business. The last thing I said was "Please do not call me again." and I hung up. Astonishingly, he immediately called me back. I answered and said, "Are you kidding me?" His response was, "Yes, Jennifer, I am here." It was incredibly creepy. This is harassment, and it is unacceptable. I will never do business with this dealership, and I will advise others to avoid them unless they are prepared to be harassed. I did call the management team and left a voicemail detailing what happened. Note, I did not call back when the manager didn't answer. However, I needed to let others know to stay away. More

I hate writing this (it's not my style), but I feel I have to. Today I was in the service department for the second time and was very it was frustrating. Last week I brought my 2019 Honda CRV in for tir have to. Today I was in the service department for the second time and was very it was frustrating. Last week I brought my 2019 Honda CRV in for tire rotation, oil change and the recall for the fuel pump on 9/5/24. The person who scheduled the appointment never told me I had to leave the car, it was not until I got there that I found out to my dismay. I was not happy, but a made appointment for the following week 9/11/24 to have the recall taken care of. Unfortunately, again I was not told the car had to have 1/4 tank of gas now I'm furious!! This means I have to bring the car back again, which I won't, I'll go to another dealership. I went back to the gentle man who had taken care me the first time and ask "Why didn't you tell me the car need 1/4 tank of gas?" His response was "oh yes we can't work on with a full tank of gas" My response was "why did you tell me that last week" He came back with "don't raise your voice at me." I was angry after two trips from the east side and the issue still not resolved. I did raise my voice but I was not screaming, it was a frustrated voice which was clearly evident and appropiate. I have had good service in the past, but now I'm going somewhere else. This was too much!!! The gentleman should have known my frustration and should have understood my situation. This was the gentleman who always wears the white cap backwards. In the past he has been very accommodating and pleasant, I don't know what happened, but he should have understood and accepted my frustration, Two strikes and you'er out.... I'll find another dealership for fix the recall I'm done with Ferndale Honda! Regina More
