Pundmann Ford opened it's doors on April 25, 1925, in St. Charles on the corner of Jefferson and Second streets as one of the first automobile dealerships in the area. Pundmann endured the Great Depression, World War II and in 1951 moved to their second location at 1001 North Second Street.
In 1968 Pundmann Motor Co made its final move to 2727 West Clay to where it now sits today. Additionally, the dealership is still owned and operated by the Pundmann Family. Pundmann Motor Company's approach to business has always stayed the same, Pundmann People Care. It is because of this approach that our store has received national recognition for our excellence in customer service.

I truly enjoyed Pundmann Ford's honesty and genuine understanding of how to treat a customer. I expected to be pressured into making a decision that was not in my best interest. I have called twice now for service. After hanging on the phone for 15 minutes no one answered my call except the receptionist. At this point I have had no service advisor to talk to. Although it took a year from the time I "reserved" my 2022 Maverick, the dealership honored the price I'd been given when I finally took delivery March 25, 2022. Although Ford had delays in production, I was kept abreast of the production and delivery schedule. I few of the options/accessories I ordered weren't shipped with the truck, but the dealership made sure they were ordered and installed when they came in. More

I dropped my car off on January 31, 2022. It took a month to determine that the engine was bad and would be replaced under warranty. Now it's been 10 weeks and I still have 6 cars in front It took a month to determine that the engine was bad and would be replaced under warranty. Now it's been 10 weeks and I still have 6 cars in front of me before they start on mine. The problem is they have no program available to supply us with a loner vehicle to drive. We have spent 10 weeks with with one vehicle. It's not our fault the engine is bad. I feel they should have some type of loner program to assist good customers, (I have purchased my last 2 vehicles from Pundmann). At this current rate of repair it will be July before I get my car back. This unacceptable! More

The car purchase was fine, but I bought all extended warranties. My trunk won't open wiring harness is a know defect on my car and they can't get it in to look at it for 3 weeks. Meanwhile I need my ice scrapper, to buy groceries, and other things locked in for 3 weeks. Very DISSATISFIED with the service department. Would never purchase here again. More
