Very long time spent @ dealership, about 5hrs. Our salesman was Montale who was very friendly and patient. The one thing I didn't appreciate was that, in the middle of our negotiations with Montale, the dealership made him leave us to do another test drive with another couple which inconvenienced me and my wife at least an extra 45 minutes. After the long delay, he was able to get our new truck @ the average price for the area. After we settled on a final price for the truck, I then decided I wanted to trade in my 98' SUV. The dealership appraised it and test drove it, then they tried to low ball my trade in. After informing them about the guaranteed trade-in price quote I received from Autotrader they did budge and give me a fairer trade-in value for my 98' SUV. But then they renigged on the final price of the new truck and raised it $300.00. After beating up and getting beat up mentally with the dealership, we came to an amount both parties were happy with. This is no reflection on Montale, as we were very happy to work with Montale. I guess you can call it just part of doing business. Overall, we are very pleased with our experience with Progressive Dodge. Is there room for improvement on their end? Yes. But we would definitely do business with them again. Just be prepared for a long time spent doing the whole transaction. Do not go tired, or hungry, be alert and stay on your toes and be vigilant. More
I would never recommend this dealer because I was lied to on a few different things. There was a $500 rebate available that they told me was only for the previous weekend, which was a lie. The person I spoke with over the phone said he would meet with me and made a point to say he would make sure he had time set aside, yet when I arrived, they told me he never meets with people and gave me to someone else. That someone else, Frank, was extremely nice and was the only positive part of my experience. The manger, Nathaniel, was rude and condesending, and attempted to low-ball my trade since they had a great sales price. This was different from the range that I was quoted over the phone. They were going to charge me for installing a soft top, and never said I could do it myself. I ended up buying the same jeep at a different dealer 2 1/2 hours away who was honest. Overall, horrible experience. Without a trade-in, their prices are amazing, but I would never buy from people who are dishonest. More
I gave your dealership all fives because this was the best experience I've had at a dealership. I had a recall on my heated seats and Bob Walter walked me through the process of what would happen to the best experience I've had at a dealership. I had a recall on my heated seats and Bob Walter walked me through the process of what would happen to the Jeep and when to pick and up and drop it off. He even had it washed for me. That was so nice. He was very friendly and answered all my questions that I had. I will always deal with him when I come into the dealership. Thank you for taking care of my car!!! I'll be back! More

I gave it high ratings for Bob's thoroughness in explaining the issue with my vehicle. Also,because I was scheduled for brake inspection the following week, however because I had a long trip and bec explaining the issue with my vehicle. Progressive also provided transportation for me back to my place of work and I had they washed my vehicle free of charge. More
John Kerry was very friendly, answered all my questions, even the "small/stupid" ones that I came up with. Employees seemed very knowledgeable about the vehicles. No one "rushed" to hurry through customers, took time with each person in there (as I was there for a couple of hours and had time to notice other employees interacting with customers). Very nice!!! Lots of vehicles on the lot to look at. Many choices, makes, colors etc. I was led to Progressive through a friend from work, who has purchased three vehicles (over the years) there, as well as having service work done there. She was always satisfied with her "Progressive Experience"... which led me to "trust" Progressive. Again, very friendly staff. The first girl I talked to told me right up front that she couldn't answer all my questions (as she wasn't a sales person)... however, she was very nice and walked around showing me used cars until John finished up with another customer. Very nice car shopping experience!!! I walked away THAT DAY with a newer-used car... much better than what I drove onto the lot with! One thing I wish were different (although when I asked John, he explained WHY it is done this way...) As I was wandering through the used cars looking, prior to speaking with a Progressive employee.... None of the used cars had prices in the window... I could have narrowed down the search for a vehicle a bit faster, if I knew the price as I was walking around. More
I always look forward to seeing Tom and the gang. I am sometimes a little bit annoyed by the follow-up phone call the day after because I am usually at work. But -- we ALWAYS have a good experience at Progressive. (Tom made me do this survey and say only good stuff :) It was a pricey visit this time with new tires and all but my husband had checked at several other tire places on prices and you were right in line with the quality and type of tire that we needed. He appreciates Tom's friendliness, candidness and knowledge - as Tom always calls him at work the day the car is in to report necessary work and get his okay to go ahead. (while I am out shopping at the nearby strip -- I am only the delivery and pick up girl). We have been toying with the idea of switching to Wooster area dealer since it would be within five minutes of my work and I could take the car there on my work days rather than to Massillon on my only day off during the week. But Tom is awesome to work with and my husband is so satisfied with the work the mechanics do that it is sort of a no-brainer to stay in Massillon. (did I do okay, Tom? Oh yeah - you are older than me - ha! ha!) See ya in a few months to use up my points!! More

I had two different recall related problems for my visit. Tom Byers was great to work with, very accomodating. He made it easy for me to fit my service appointment into my weird schedule. On my second visit (due to two separate recall jobs) I had to do a work related Webinar. Tom made sure I had wi-fi, going out of his way to find me comfortable seating, getting me coffee, and finding the online code to get my computer connected to the web. Tom made sure I knew when my vehicle's work was complete. He made sure the van was washed and kept my keys safe as well. The webinar was 2 hours long, the service didn't take that long. The men in the showroom were willing to babysit my computer when I needed to use the ladies room. They also offered to refill my coffee several times. I felt invited and accomodated while I was there. I did spread the word at work the next day about my awesome visit to my car dealer. Progressive Dodge. Thanks Tom. More
