My wife and are were interested in possibly trading our truck in for an SUV. I have a lease (through this dealer) that I would have traded in early. My wife called on the way to the dealer and asked if the salesman I had spoken with was available (who I felt was honest during our first conversation). They told he was and that they had "4 hemi powered durangos on the lot". We then find out not only do they have ZERO hemi durangos...but only one durango at all, which was not even close to what we wanted. My wife and I got to the dealer to find the salesman busy with another customer (not his fault). We then were shopped around to two different "sales people" the second of which in my opinion needs to find a line of work outside selling cars, she is clueless. They never ran our credit, never offered to show any vehicles. Just offered that either buying a dodge journey (not even close to what we wanted), or to "buy out your truck right now" were our only "realistic options today". I receive my late fathers employee pricing, which they never really acknowledged. I feel that fact that they will not make as big a commission selling us a car or truck as they would with someone else, a tactic I have witnessed at another local dealership in barberton. Honestly I felt this visit was a waste of time and in the future will take my business elsewhere. I did receive a phone call today (two days after) from the last salesperson asking what could be done for us to get in a car. Further proof that this place was a one-and-done for me. More

I liked their words, "This Dealer is Dirty!” In responding to an internet ad, I called and after a short wait on phone I was assured that they still had the Mini Van in stock and that there were no pending sales or holds on it. When I arrived, another sales man greeted me. I was told the woman with whom I had an appointment to meet, whose position’s title is “Business Generator”, was actually an office person. After a two hour drive they set me down for 20 more minutes getting my information. I was then led outside to other Mini Vans that were for sale. After requesting to see the Mini Van I was interested in I was informed it was no longer on the lot and unavailable. The other vans were more expensive and did not have the specific equipment I was looking for. This is a typical bait and switch operation. They get you to invest your time and in my case $50 for fuel. They hope that since you have so much invested that you go ahead and bite on a different deal. This is a terrible business model for any company to adopt. More
asked them to check front end of my charger. they just fixed anything that was loose. charged me $800 and said it was fixed. still made the same noise it was making before. took it back the next week. the fixed anything that was loose. charged me $800 and said it was fixed. still made the same noise it was making before. took it back the next week. they reluctantly put it on the rack and checked it out. they agreed after a test drive that it made a noise but they couldnt figure out what it was. they said everything was tight. they told me that they would have to tear down the front end more and that would cost $1300 more. point is that i asked them to fix the noise in the front end and they didnt. and they gave me the run around on getting it done right. I would not reconmend this dealer for servicing your car. I do not live near the dealership but saw a great deal for the vehicle we were looking for online. Wendy called me after I made an offer online. She said she would get me the best price she could. She cal for the vehicle we were looking for online. Wendy called me after I made an offer online. She said she would get me the best price she could. She called back again later in the day around 3pm. Gave me a good offer over the phone and said we might get an even better offer if I qualify for the additional rebates. I asked her to see if I qualified for those rebates and then I could give her a final decision on purchasing the vehicle. I needed to know the final price because I was going to have to drive 4 HOURS from across the state to purchase the car. She called me back at 5:50 pm that night, 10 minutes before the dealership was closing for the night. She stated that I did qualify and what the price was going to be before tax and tilte. I called back at 6:03 pm and left a message stating that we wanted the vehicle and that we would be driving up to get it the next morning. I found someone to watch my two small children and my husband and I left at 7 am. The internet stated that the dealership opened at 8am and I called at 8:06am while we were in route. The service area was open but no one was there from the sales department until 9am. I continued driving and called again at 9:30 am. I spoke with the sales manager that Wendy had said gave her the purchase price the day before. He first was nice and said he remembered that vehicle and price from yesterday. He then looked up the vehicle again and asked me again what Wendy said the price was. I told him and he knew what the price was that I was quoted because he had said it earlier in the conversation. He said that the price was wrong. He didn't say 28, 449 he said the price was 38, 449. I told him that is not what was stated on the message on my phone and that even his price on the internet was lower than that quote. He then said let me see what I can do. He then came back with a price of 35,199. That was his best offer. That isn't even a good offer. I could get that price at any dealership all day lone. I then stated I had a quote on a vehicle with the same specs from a different dealership for 32,000. He said well I bet that the vehicle there isn't as nice and this was a great price. He talked to me like I wasn't educated about the vehicle I was looking to buy. Well he was wrong. THIS DEALERSHIP IS DIRTY! After driving 2 hours of the 4 hour trip I told him that I will not take that so called deal. That all he did was tryh to get me to the dealership under a lie thinking I was studip enough to just buy the vehicle anyway because I had drove for 4 hours. I am not going to write and call everyone at Chrystler, Dodge Ram to let them know that this dealership is dirty and using horrible tactics to get someone to buy a vehicle. GO ANYWHERE but HERE at PROGRESSIVE for a vehicle. More
