Robert Durand is one of the best spoken, most professional sales people I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I feel that he genuinely cared about earning my business, and did all that was possible in order to do so. Myron Steen also did an excellent job, both he and Robert treated me as if I were a friend and not just another car sale. I would (and have) reccommended the services of Proctor Acura to many of my friends and family members. In February 2008, I began searching for a 2008 Acura TL. I had my last vehicle for 12 years and was ready to purchase an entry level luxury/performance sedan. Living in a fairly rural area, I started requesting quotes from dealers within a 300 mile radius from where I live to see what kind of deals could be had. I knew that this was the last year this generation TL was going to be produced and I was hoping to find a good deal. The Acura dealer closest to me was not ready to deal. I sent the request for a quote on a Sunday and within 15 minutes on a SUNDAY Robert Durand from Proctor Acura of Tallahassee called me with a quote, and it turned out that none of the other quotes I received were even close. I wound up having to drive over 2 hours to pick up my car but it was so worth it. The entire process from start to finish was as smooth as silk, down to even being able to get our actual license plate at the dealership the day I picked up the car instead of having to use a paper tag. Robert was patient (I am a little obsessive sometimes) and he answered all of my questions at almost any time of the day or night. We received nice thank you gifts from the dealership as well. I give Proctor Acura of Tallahassee and Robert Durand my highest recommendations. More

Should you decide for what ever reason to travel or search any further than our home town then your just wasting your time. This dealership has a top notch service department as well. The service department fully details your car inside and out for what ever the reason you may have it in for, even routine oil changes. And, while you may be waiting for your car, the customer lounge has plenty of hot coffee, several types of high quality tea, fruits, snack bars, fresh pastries or cookies to go along with your beverage. Prefer honey instead of sugar with your hot tea? It's there to choose from as well. What are you waiting for? Call Tony now at Ph. (850) 574-660!!!! Or better yet, just stop in and see him. He's always super friendly, knows the Acura line to the 'T', and there's never any high pressure sales pitch. Once you check out an Acura, you'll see why there vehicles pretty much sell themselves. On a side note, I needed a small body part for my 'TL' this past week. I called Proctors parts department about mid-day to check availability of the part. Although it wasn't in stock, the parts rep said he could easily have it there by the next morning. So, I went ahead and order it by phone with no advance payment required. Believe it or not, the part was there as promised waiting for me to pick up the very next day at 8:30AM. I have been dealing with Proctor Acura since 1995. The salesmen, managers and service technicians have consistently been courteous, helpful and efficient. I am now leasing a 2008 RDX and have owned or lea salesmen, managers and service technicians have consistently been courteous, helpful and efficient. I am now leasing a 2008 RDX and have owned or leased five other Acuras and my daughter is on her second MDX. The cars are ultra-reliable and with one or two exceptions, have only been "in the shop" for routine maintenance. In the one instance of a major problem (a transmission failure in my wife's 2002 CLS), the local Acura dealer relaced the transmission at no cost to us. I also enjoy working with Proctor Acura's Sales Mgr., Tony Bellamio; very knowlegable and extremely accomodating in finding a requested vehicle and then arranging appropriate leasing terms or financing. I have referred a number of friends and family to Proctor Acura because of the quality of Acura and Tony's outstanding service. More
Tony is the best salesman I have ever met. I have bought cars from him for many years. If he ever left I don't know what I'd do because I really trust him. (Maybe even not buy an Acura again.) Clearly, I was more than pleased with the service provided by Proctor Acura, but I was most impressed with how they let me "shop". I had very specific criteria, which included a tight budget, and Ob provided by Proctor Acura, but I was most impressed with how they let me "shop". I had very specific criteria, which included a tight budget, and Obie (and friends) worked within those constraints. I had been to several car dealerships with my "list" and they politely hurried me off the lot and did not return my phone calls. Obie was willing to do an internet search for me and follow-up when he found vehicles that met the criteria. From my experience, it is difficult to find people who will "work" for the sale, but I certainly found that in Obie and the Proctor team. Next time we'll start at Proctor Acura and let them do the searching for us! More
I've been a more than satisfied customer of Proctor Acura for several years. Their focus is on the auto's performance. The waiting room is clean, convenient and comfortable. Of course, having coffee and snacks ia a lovely bonus. The BEST thing about the service department is the competence and sincere desire to put me in a safe car! Charles Boykin is not only a professional, he has a delightful disposition and willingness to insure that my experiences are always A+. No one has tried to get me to 'chunk' my car and get a new one. They seem to care about circumstances and pocketbook. (hard to find) When talking with friends about cars and repairs, my friends who do not own Acuras tell me they wish they did! Sincerely, helen A.
