Wow, what an experience. I had been communicating with Robert for about 4 months to work a deal out on my Acura MDX before the purchase. I have probably shopped around with 8 different dealerships prior to choosing Proctor Acura and Robert. Ultimately, my only complaint is that I live 4 hours away and will be unable to have my MDX serviced at the Proctor dealership. From the initial inquiry, Robert clearly answered my questions and assisted me with the diligence and professionalism that you would expect from a Tier 1 dealership. We never felt like we were being ignored or misguided, and he made us feel like we were respected. My wife really enjoyed the patience and level of personalized attention that Robert gave us as well. He listened to our needs and skillfully matched us to the vehicle of our dreams and budget: an Acura MDX with the Sport and Technology Packages. When we arrived at the dealership Saturday morning and walked into the showroom, our Aspen White Pearl w/ Bordeaux MDX was sitting on the blue carpet with a giant red bow (requested by me for my wife) on it. The paperwork was ready for us to sign and the truck was freshly bathed and waxed. The paperwork process was easy-breezy with Myron Steen and everything was explained thoroughly. Once we were done, Robert took us to the MDX and went over the vehicle. WOW, there are a ton of features in this thing! Robert's presentation was clear & concise and made it more simple to understand. In the weeks following the sale, we have called Robert a few times with questions and he has continued to be most helpful. We feel that we are valued and respected even after the sale. Robert and the other dealership staff were extremely polite, friendly, and helpful and we are extremely grateful. Thanks for the cookies by the way! Charles was an excellent example of what people expect from customer service. He was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to explain the details of the service performed on my vehic from customer service. He was helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. He went out of his way to explain the details of the service performed on my vehicle. Most importantly, he did not talk "over my head" even though I had limited knowledge on servicing a vehicle. I bought a pre-owned certified Acura TL from Proctor Acura. My experience was totally positive. David was very knowledgeable on the car and the pre-owned certified program. He worked to find me a car that met all my criteria (age, condition, miles, price, etc.). When he delivered the car, he went over everything with me and showed me how to set-up my blue tooth with my cell phone. I was pleased with the price I got for my trade-in too. I am not local to Tallahassee so this was a long distance transaction. David handled everything and all paperwork was delivered to my home for me to sign and return. Dealing with the entire Proctor team was a pleasure and David was an extremely knowledgeable and helpful salesman. More
I purchased a 2005 RL at a reasonable price. I have taken it in for services and I have been very pleased at the professionalism of the staff. We just purchased our third automobile from Proctor Acura, and worked with Robert Durand on the last two purchases. Robert is great to work with, is extremely knowledgeable about the features of the v Acura, and worked with Robert Durand on the last two purchases. Robert is great to work with, is extremely knowledgeable about the features of the vehicles, and is a good teacher when going over the things we need to know about our car. We feel comfortable that we can go back to him with questions and to get additional information. Obtaining service for our cars has also been a good experience, and Charles Boykin and Ron Plymel have always been friendly and helpful. I purchased my first car at Proctor Acura from Charles, and he is terrific in the service area. More

Sales: On my initial visit to purchase my 2008 RDX I was greeted by Mr. Durand and he was very professional and patient as he answered my questions about the models and pricing for the Acura models available. His knowledge of the Acura product line allowed him to assist me in making my selection of vehicle to purchase. He asked questions about my preferences which allowed him to determine whether the vehicle was the right price and had the options I wanted. After the purchase he assisted me with setup for my car door lock settings and the hands free link. He always returns my calls and says hello whenever I visit the dealership. I mention to my friends and family my positive experiences at Proctor Acura and recommend they consider Proctor for their next vehicle purchase. If I should purchase a new car in the future I will seek out Proctor and Mr. Durand. Service: Mr. Charles Boykin assisted me when I had to get my car serviced when the alert system indicated a tire pressure problem. The second visit was regarding the lighted visor mirror on the passenger side of the car. He was helpful and patient and did not consider the mirror light to be too insignificant to bother with. Eventually, the entire visor had to be replaced and he scheduled the replacement quickly for me and I did not have to make repeated trips to get it done. The third visit to service was for an oil change and even though my car had less than 4,000 miles he arranged for me to get a free oil change. This was very much appreciated by me. This is an example of the high quality of customer service at Proctor Acura. I would also like to mention the ladies in the cashiers office. They are always friendly and courteous with me. On my visits to Proctor Acura I have observed how the personnel treat other customers and they are always friendly, courteous, and helpful. My perception is that their behavior is consistent towards all their customers and given the current economic environment this contributes greatly to building customer loyalty for the Acura brand. I have owned two other Acuras (Both purchased in another state) and the vehicle I replaced with the RDX was a 1991 Integra. Prior to making my final purchase decision I asked about the customer service and service ratings for Proctor and Robert answered my questions about the ratings received by the dealership. The customer service/support provided by the Proctor Acura dealership is one of the main reasons I decided to buy my third Acura from the dealership. More
My wife and I traveled from Tulsa to this particular dealership to buy a specific car. We negotiated the price before visiting. We were very impressed with his professionalism and willingness to help close the deal. In general, I have had a great experience with Proctor Acura. The service personnel are extremely friendly and I know that when I bring my vehicle to the dealership, it will be taken care of with the utmost care. I just hope that when I move from the area, I receive the same service as I've received from Proctor Acura. More
