I have purchased Honda & Acura cars for over 20 years and have loved every one of them. Of all of them through the years, I have to say my all-time favorite has been the Acura RL 3.5 (2002-2004) due to the l have loved every one of them. Of all of them through the years, I have to say my all-time favorite has been the Acura RL 3.5 (2002-2004) due to the look, feel, drive and overall quality of this vehicle. I don't think I will ever own any other vehicle. Needless to say living in Orlando that after searching far and wide for my perfect next car, the search took me all the way to Tallahassee and Proctor Acrua. This was a REALLY long way to drive to buy a car sight-unseen, but with their many pictures online and then after speaking with Robert on the phone, I felt very at ease and like this was the car for me. Proctor worked out all of the numbers prior to me driving there and so I went on blind faith. All I can tell you is that when I got there, the car was perfect and just as described AND the paperwork was all completed with the numbers just as promised. With the exception of the 8 hours of driving round-trip, this was the best car buying experience I have ever had. I highly recommend Proctor Acura and Robert to handle your next vehicle purchase. This is my second Acura MDX. I love the vehicle and the service has always been exceptional. The salesperson I worked with when buying my first MDX was excellent, but was no longer an employee. Tony was very knowledgable and helpful with the changes from 2007 to 2010 models. He was also extremely patient in helping me understand the changes in the navigation/information center. I live in Cairo, GA, and the drive to the dealership is approximately 45-50 minutes. If I had not had a great experience with the MDX or the dealership, I would not have purchased a second one. More
I've purchased cars from this dealership for close to 13 years so I've always been pleased with the service. But my recent purchase of the 2010 TL was by far the best experience I've ever had with Proctor years so I've always been pleased with the service. But my recent purchase of the 2010 TL was by far the best experience I've ever had with Proctor Tallahassee. From their quick and accurate service to the fact that they didn't give up on me even when I had given up on myself. They worked endlessly to get the right interest rate for me. I can't say enough great things about the Proctor team! I would recommend anyone to this dealership! And I love my new TL! More
I had a acura about 5 yrs ago and traded it in on a M45 Infiniti and was very displeased with the service there! I expected to get the same quality of service that I had previously gotten with Acura and to Infiniti and was very displeased with the service there! I expected to get the same quality of service that I had previously gotten with Acura and to say the least was very disappointed. So once my lease was up, I decided to go back to an acura! The customer service is excellent and showmanship of the cars in wonderful! More
Tony is the best. We negotiated most of the sales price over the phone and had a deal worked out within one hour of visiting the showroom. We took the old acura in for a possible short in the wiring. Not only did they not charge us for this when they found nothing wrong.... they detailed the car! I was a little fuzzy about what was covered by warranty and certification and was surprised when I met the financial officer that I would need to shell out another $1100 over and above the agreed price to and certification and was surprised when I met the financial officer that I would need to shell out another $1100 over and above the agreed price to get the cover I wanted. This should have been made clear to me during the price discussion the previous day. It left me with a slightly bad taste in the mouth after what had otherwise been a fairly civilised negotiation. More
