The certified vehicle we purchased was supposed to have a new battery--but it wasn't done. We discovered this when the car wouldn't start, two days after we drove it off the lot. There was a severe disconnect between the promises from the sales side regarding a certified vehicle and the actual reality--the certification and rework process was not done well. I should note that they have stepped up to fix the items--it's just that they should not need to have been fixed in the first place. More

My family purchased two Hondas from Mr. Henry in June. At that time the front brakes on my Pilot were replaced. I had the best car buying experience I have ever had. There was no pressure and he was a pleasure to deal with. Last week, I noticed a grinding sound in my Pilot. I had my husband look at the car and he agreed that the back brakes were going bad. I called Rick Woodson on Monday, had my appointment today (Tuesday), my brakes and rotors have been replaced with a more than satisfactory price. I am thrilled and will continue to do business at this car dealership!! More

Dunn was extremely helpful and adept at helping me trade-in my 2008 Civic for a 2010 at a lower cost per month. Needless to say, I was very happy with his work. I continue to lease Civics because I find them an excellent and reliable car and I continue to work with Woodson because of their helpfulness, reputation, and expertise. This time around I will watch the maintenance schedule and make sure that my tires are rotated properly so that they will last the length of the three year lease. More

It was late and the dealership was closing but that didn't make any difference to Bill. He was still patient until I understood my new vehicle. To check this out, I went to the internet and asked for a price quote on the same car from Woodson Honda in Roanoke. The Woodson representative responded very quickly to my query, and much to my delight, the price that he quoted was considerably less than I expected. We drove to Roanoke to check this out, fully expecting to be disappointed. The price was 'real' and the car was exactly what we were told it would be. The salesman, Carless Craighead, was friendly and helpful. We were not pressured to buy lots of over-priced add-ons. I have been buying cars for nearly 50 years, and this experience was probably the best of them all. More

Ever since I bought my first 2002 Honda Civic EX, I have been hooked on them because they are so reliable, well made, and just plain of Honda cars. I initially had traded my 2002 Honda Civic EX and bought a new 2008 Honda Civic LX at Rick Woodson Honda in Roanoke, VA. At that time, the level of service was outstanding, and the sales representative was very helpful and patient with me in determining which car would be best for me. That was back in Nov 2007. Now, today, I just traded in that 2008 Honda Civic LX and purchased a new 2010 Honda Sport Fit and again I experienced the same level of customer service, friendliness, and helpfulness that I experienced the first time. William Allen Sizemore was super friendly and helped me find the kind of car I was looking for. Also, Tom Campbell was very thorough in explaining to me my options of my service contract and finalizing all the paperwork. My only intention today was to test drive a Fit and see how much my Civic would fetch when traded in, and the next thing I knew I was signing papers and shaking a few hands and driving out of their lot with my brand new 2010 Honda Sport Fit. This is why I'm a returning customer to Rick Woodson Honda. They treat you with kindness, respect, and have some of the best deals around especially for quality vehicles that only Honda can produce. I also have all of my maintenance services performed at Rick Woodson Honda in Roanoke, VA. I experience, again, nothing but the best customer service there as well. I put off looking for quite a while because I simply hate dealing with car salesman. I am a woman and feel most salesman simply talk around me and do not listen to my needs. I also have a major issue with making a decision and having the salesman go back and forth with the sales manager as if "making a deal" is really happening. I hate discussing the financial aspects of the purchase and feel most salesman are more interested in making the appearance of being interested, rather than simply trying to provide a service. Mr. Sizemore did not, at any time, present with the "usual" characteristics of a car salesman. He was personable, polite, and completely knowledable about the Honda line of vehicles. If a car did not have everything I wanted, he assured me he could provide an alternative to make it work. He never pressured me or made me feel uncomfortable. He provided a comprehensive overview of the vehicle I purchased and assured I was comfortable with all aspects of the vehicle operation. He is an asset to the Rick Woodson dealership and I highly recommend him to anyone who wants personalized service. Although I do not remember his last name, "Rick" the gentleman who processes the paperwork and warranty information, was also professional, polite and knoweledgable. The entire process of purchasing a new vehicle from Rick Woodson was a wonderful experience. I would return to this dealership in the future, but would hesitate if Mr. Sizemore was not available to work with me.
