Thank you for the feedback. Having just joined in the DealerRater.com Certified Dealer Program we are just getting the opportunity to reply to your visit. By no means is it normal and customary to pressure customers for optional services but we do feel that these services do offer benefits and many customers feel the same way. The changing of fluids, especially if they were particularly dirty may not remove all the contaminants. Flushing cleans the casings and when new fluids are added they are not contaminated with the residue left behind by the previous fluids. We understand your concerns but we would be remiss to not offer and explain these services in the event a consumer wished to have them performed.

My car had under 30,000 miles in 2010, at time of this review. AS YOU SEE FROM DEALERSHIP RESPONSE, THEY CONFIRM UP-SELLING CUSTOMERS expensive "flushing items" Which are NOT required and NOT recommended by GENERAL MOTORS. = NOT in G.M.service-schedule, for life of car (= crankcase, fuel-injector, transmission). Service Dept employees lack people-skills, if you reject these high dealer profit items. I stopped using Priority service in 2010. - In 2012 - I received a free oil-change coupon in mail, so I went to Priority for this simple service. IN FORGOT TO PRESENT COUPON, BEFORE-HAND. -SO,THE SERVICE ADVISER ABUSIVELY CHEWED ME OUT (a few minutes time) LOUDLY IN FRONT OF WHOLE SERVICE DEPT. Service-Mgr was absent, so I told the SALES-MGR about this treatment. -He didn't care!

Having just joined in the DealerRater.com Certified Dealer Program we are just getting the opportunity to reply to your visit. By no means is it normal and customary to wait that long with an appointment. What you describe as far as beauty salons and restaurants is our Toyota store. Were you at Toyota or Chevrolet? We would love to know what happened in your case because to our knowledge no one has ever waited 8 hours for a State Inspection. Would you mind providing the details?
