New Car Lease My experience at Pride has been wonderful. Paul DiCicco, "my" salesman, is professional beyond words. I would not have what I have if not for him. Pride Chevrolet takes pride in taking advantage of customers of who are clearly in a bind and have no choice but to use them for service. Upon returning from a trip recently my vehicle would not start customers of who are clearly in a bind and have no choice but to use them for service. Upon returning from a trip recently my vehicle would not start when I attempted to leave Logan Airport. I had no choice but to have my vehicle towed to Pride Chevrolet. After several days of me calling on multiple occasions I finally learned that the truck needed the cap and rotor replaced. The quote I received was $416 for parts and labor. Upon picking up my vehicle and reviewing the invoice the total cost breakdown was $336 for labor and $74 for parts. Since then I have spoke to several mechanics and have done some research and fully realized how much Pride COMPLETELY screwed me over. The part can be found online for $30-50 and the labor could be done easily in 30 minutes or less. Pride claims that it took them THREE hours to perform the labor (at $112 per hour). In short if you are looking to be lied to and want to hand a car dealer sacks of money for terrible service then utilize Pride Chevrolet. There is nothing they like more than a vehicle with out of state plates rolling into their lot that needs to be repaired. Easy money for them. More
If I could give a negative number I would, but unfortunately it won't allow me to! I have been searching for a car for the last 2 months. I checked out some places here and there but couldn't see unfortunately it won't allow me to! I have been searching for a car for the last 2 months. I checked out some places here and there but couldn't seem to find one. I saw one this morning on AutoTrader, it was for 2012 Honda Accord LX-P. The issue was that the Pride Chevy was about 2 hours away from my house. So before I left I called the sales department. I spoke to a fellow named Sam (actually name) and asked him if the car was still available as I live far away and do not want to waste a trip. He reassured me that, it was available and that when I got there to ask for him. We hopped in the car and headed toward Lynn. We get there and are wandering around. I finally have to ask a random guy who looked like he worked there if there was a separate Honda side. I let him know that I spoke to a Sam and was asked to ask for him when I arrived. A few minutes later, Sam arrives. I introduce myself and shake his hand. He then tells me he is going to set me up with a consultant. What, wait, then what the xxxx does Sam do? Sam brings back this guy, no idea who his name is. Sam says to guy I'm going to pull the car up for her, set up her profile. We sit with the guy and he tells me that unfortunately the car was sold this morning. I tell him, I called before hand blah blah to make sure it was there, 2 hour drive... He looks up the "sold" car and starts raving about what a great steal that wasI asked him why he rave about a deal that we were driving up to see and is now gone. What purpose was that serving? He says that Sam didn't know the car was sold, the other side of the dealership sold it, blah blah. My question is why is Sam answering the phone if he can not provide correct answers. Pissed off I gather my things to leave. I'm then told that maybe the car wasn't sold and to hold on, they had to make a phone call. Meanwhile as I wait, my dad goes into an office. I walk over and see this man, slumped back in his chair telling my dad that things happen, that they have been busy all day, "see look at the list of all the cars I sold..." Pride Chevy, do I give a crap? So when it gets busy, things fall apart and people give poor customer service, don't communicate and get lazy?? The salesman in there were unprofessional, unorganized and lack communication with each other. How do you NOT know if a car was sold? I would never recommend that place to anyone. HANDS DOWN THE WORST DEALERSHIP, OUT OF THE 15 THAT I'VE BEEN TO IN THE LAST FEW MONTHS. More
I emailed this Chevy dealership inquiring about a new car. I told him I dont like games and was looking for a straight forward honest experience. The guy I corresponded with online handed me off to one o car. I told him I dont like games and was looking for a straight forward honest experience. The guy I corresponded with online handed me off to one of the sales guys working that night. I made the HUGE mistake of letting them test drive my vehicle. Don't give them your keys, I will explain later in this review. The sales guy kept lying to me in my opinion. First lie I had a problem with is him telling me the dealership would lose money on the deal if they went and found me a black Malibu since they didn't have one in stock. I didn't even negotiate hard, I simply let them match a price from another dealer. Don't tell me for one second that there's no profit there, therefore "taking a loss" finding me a black Malibu from another dealership was a total lie to my face. I also felt his pressure tactics were in full force. Telling me how my car isn't even safe enough to drive home and other BS! So after getting frustrated that I was being lied to, I finally told him I was going to think about the vehicle overnight. That's when he got insulting really. I politely asked for my car keys 3 times in 15 minutes as he continues to come back at me with the numbers reworked in a different way. At one point showing me a $400/month plan that would have ultimately ended at $39,000. That's DOUBLE what the car's selling price was. Then he suddenly MAGICALLY had a black Malibu after all; that just adds insult to injury. This dealership must think customer's are really stupid. I finally had to go into the finance guys' office to demand my keys back angrily and they acted like I had no reason to be upset even though they essentially held me hostage for 20 minutes telling me how they stayed late for me. The only reason we were there so late was because they wouldn't give me my car keys back in the first place! This place takes advantage of the kindness of people and not wanting to make a scene. The sales manager called me the following day for damage control but that's all it was. I'm allergic to all that BS so I just yessed him off the phone and some how that translated into him thinking I'd ever step foot in that dealership again. I bought a car (that I love) at another dealership with zero pressure and amazing finance rate. Note: I think the 2 names are the guys that "helped" me that night but am not 100% sure. More
I am so excited about my new purchase of a 2013 Chevy Sonic LT. I started my pursuit of a new vehicle about 3 months ago. During the process I went to 2 other dealerships to check out cars. Neither pl Sonic LT. I started my pursuit of a new vehicle about 3 months ago. During the process I went to 2 other dealerships to check out cars. Neither place made me feel at home like Pride. I knew I wanted to purchase an american made vehicles--but wasn't sure which one. I decided to narrow it down to a few cars: Chevy Malibu, Chevy Cruze, Buick Verano and a Hyundai Tucson. I went to Pride after googling a dealership that had a variety of cars, one that could work with my credit limitations and budget. Pride was just that dealership. From the moment I contacted Pride to me actually going to test drive cars, they were great. My sales peron Paul was friendly, easy to talk, very knowledgeable about the cars and really explained my individual options. I went in thinking I was going to buy a used vehicle and ended up purchasing a brand new car for the same money I planned on spending for a used one. My car was ready within days and Paul took care of it all. I am so grateful to have a sales person like Paul handle my purchase, he and the entire team at Pride was truly amazing. This acknowlegement is a "thank you" to Paul and the entire team for making my experience exceptionally. More
I went to pride Chevrolet in February looking to trade in my truck for a new pickup. At the time I was self employed and upside on my vehicle so there wasn't a lot that could be done financing wise. Paul c my truck for a new pickup. At the time I was self employed and upside on my vehicle so there wasn't a lot that could be done financing wise. Paul called me back in after 8 months certain that something could be worked out with new incentives that were being offered. I went back down and drove away in my brand new 2012 Silverado that night. James, Paul, and Joseph all bent over backwards and worked very hard to get me financed on the vehicle even though my credit is far from great. I researched pricing online as well as spoke to a few people who have bought similar vehicles through other dealership's and haven't found anyone yet who has gotten the vehicle I did, with the options I got for a similar price. All 3 of these guys made for a great experience purchasing the vehicle I wanted so very badly but didn't think I'd be able to get. I will definitely be going back to pride when I'm ready for my next truck. More
My experience with purchasing a vehicle from Pride Chevrolet was by far an excellent one. The gentlemen I worked with were dedicated, honest, ambitious, and beyond pleasant. Patrick , Joshua and Jose Chevrolet was by far an excellent one. The gentlemen I worked with were dedicated, honest, ambitious, and beyond pleasant. Patrick , Joshua and Joseph did everything possible to make sure that I was satisfied with my choice and that my choice of vehicle would be available to me. Mr.Patrick Prescod literally went out of his way to assure that everything ran smoothly; from phone calls to kind gestures, etc. Even the staff at Pride Chevrolet was amazingly kind and welcoming. I honestly did not think that this type of customer service existed, but they have successfully proved my wrong. I would like to take the time to commend Lovette Monteiro and his time he spent with me while I was purchasing my new (used) car. I had been to many car dealerships prior to visiting Pride Chevrolet. When and his time he spent with me while I was purchasing my new (used) car. I had been to many car dealerships prior to visiting Pride Chevrolet. When I came in, Lovette came up and introduced himself to me. I explained right off the bat that my credit was poor and wanted to see if your company worked with people whose credit score was not good. He told me that they would do everything they could do to get me financed. So, my credit was run and they said it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was, even though it wasn’t that good. We went outside and started looking for a car (SUV) that I may be able to afford. Lovette pointed out the Honda CRV. It was black with beige interior and a navigation system… fully loaded. I never thought I would be able to afford that car, but Lovette reassured me and told me not to worry. We took it for a test drive and I loved it. We went back to the showroom and there Lovette and his finance manager went hard to work for me. It took a while, but somehow, they managed to get the job done. There were a few glitches in the transaction, such as getting the title to Lovette, but he was patient and kept me in the loop during the entire time. When I picked up my new (used) car, it was ready to go and I LOVE IT! Lovette was wonderful, and even though I am not a Chevy girl, I would send people to Lovette if they were looking for a car. He worked for me and I know he would work for my friends. Thank you Lovette and to Pride Chevrolet for making my dreams come true! More
My experience with Pride Chevrolet in Lynn, MA was fantastic! This is because my sales consultant Clark Olivier was outstanding from day one! I went to Pride Chevrolet wondering if I'd be able to get fantastic! This is because my sales consultant Clark Olivier was outstanding from day one! I went to Pride Chevrolet wondering if I'd be able to get exactly what I was looking for at the price I was hoping for, and I was NOT disappointed! They got me exactly what I was looking for at a price that was better than I had hoped for. I lived very far from the dealership and had just had a bad experience with a previous dealership. I must say, it was refreshing to be able to walk into a dealership and have a pleasant stress-free buying experince. The staff was good to go (friendly, understanding and very helpful)! Clark went above and beyond to the very last day when picked up my vehicle. Even after the sale He seems to do more than is expected and required. I actually feel as if I've gained a friend at Pride Chevrolet because of Clark. In summary: Great Staff, Great Sales Consultant, GREAT EXPERIENCE! N. Soares More
My friends and I drove an hour to the dealership to look at a used car I wanted. They had me fill out the financing forms and took a look at my trade. The sales manager insulted me about buying my car in th at a used car I wanted. They had me fill out the financing forms and took a look at my trade. The sales manager insulted me about buying my car in the first place then asked if my dad helped me buy it and if there was something wrong with him. Next we test drove their car. If you even want to call it a test drive. It lasted about four minutes and I spent more time in traffic than driving. When I asked my friends their opinion, the salesman didn't like what they had to say and began to argue with them. He then insulted them when it was just us again in the office. Then they brought out the numbers. They offered me a third of nada and blue book trade value, trying to tell me that that's all it is worth. In my head I said "if you find one of my car for that amount, let me know. I'll buy three." Anyway, they had my car keys but if I had them I would have walked away right there and then. So I went on to tell them that it wouldn't work and how another high end used car dealership offered me the actual nada trade value, the salesman literally laughed in my face and used it as a chance to insult me even further. So I asked them for my keys and walked out without looking back. In short, I would never recommend this dealership to anyone. I don't care if they have a lambo for 2 hundred bucks, I would never even step foot on that lot. Avoid pride Chevy at all costs and if you can't, at least avoid the salesman names Paul. He's extremely rude and arrogant. Hopefully all of pride is not as bad, but I will certainly be extremely weary to deal with them in the future. More
