Well, I drove 3 and a half hours to check out two cars, which I had confirmed with Kevin over the phone. He told me he would meet me, but when we showed up, we were informed that he wouldn't be in for anot which I had confirmed with Kevin over the phone. He told me he would meet me, but when we showed up, we were informed that he wouldn't be in for another two hours. The other salesman we met with was very nice, but disorganized and did not know what he was doing very well. They went to go get the cars I had asked about and said that they couldn't find one (err... how can you not find it?), one wouldn't start, and one was in no condition to sell. The manager even said this too. So, they're essentially offering to sell things that they wouldn't actually sell. On the bright side, they were very honest about the awful condition of all their used cars. More
I brought my vehicle in for service with a check engine light issue. I have been comming in for years and had developed a good relationship with one advisor and the manager. They recognized me everytime light issue. I have been comming in for years and had developed a good relationship with one advisor and the manager. They recognized me everytime I came in, mainly because I had been comming in for years with multiple vehicles. When I arrived I was shocked to find out that they had both left. It was suprising to me because I was always told that Tysons Ford is a "family business" and that is what makes them different and sets them apart from all the other dealers. I dropped my vehicle off around 9am with Jerry Seaton. He was very rude, unprofessional and was being very short with me. I was shocked, I never had this issue with my previous advisor. After leaving me at his desk to go to the car, he came back and said we were good to go and walked away. He didnt offer to call me a cab, which usually they offer a free cab ride for me since I only work 3 miles away. I ended up paying for a cab out of my pocket. After 4 hours had gone by and I had not heard from Jerry Seaton, I called in my self for the status. This was another thing I had never had to deal wtih perviously. Jerry informed me that it wasnt in the shop yet, but it is the next vehicle in and he assured I would get a phone call with in the hour. I told him that was fine and went back to work. Another 2 hours went by and no phone call, by this time i was starting to get upset. I called and was informed Jerry was busy so I asked for his voicemail and left him a message. Jerry finally called back with an estimate around 3:30. He told me that my car needed $2500 worth of work to fix the Light, some ball joints and some flushes. I approved the work and Jerry informed me he had all the parts in stock and I could pick it up the next day. I said that was fine and I would be in at 5pm. The next day I never recevied a call from Jerry to inform me it was finished. I showed up around 4pm and Jerry was already gone, but I was told the vehicle was at the cashier. The vehicle was and the bill was a little higher then I was quoted but didnt thing anything about it. I asked the cashier for some explantions on the bill and she was uselss so I asked to speak to the manager. Bill Lyon came up and WAS NO HELP AT ALL. He couldnt answer any of my questions about the technical side of my bill on the check engine light repair and didnt know too much about the maintence stuff either. I walked out a little disgusted, got in my car started it up, put it in gear and the "lower washer fluid" light came on. I didnt want to go back in so I drove off, didnt even make it off the lot and the check engine light came back on. I turned around and drove back into the lane and when i got out a tysons ford employee told me i had a brake light out. I go back in and Bill was no help what so ever. I see mechanics sitting in the shop as he is telling me there is no one here to look at it now. We popped the hood and NO fluids were topped off. The EDGE check sheet showed the looked over all the lights, which obviously isnt true. Bill told me I could bring the car back the next day and Jerry could look at it first thing. By this time I had already spent $2600 (orginally quoted $2500), I just left with NO washer fluid a check engine light on and a brake light out (which i could of gotten a ticket for). I refuse to go back to Tysons Ford, I will never refer anyone to them either. I dont who hired the new manager, but he doesnt know anything and seems to be in way over his head. Jerry was rude and no one else there seemed like they wanted to help at all. I tried to get in touch with the general manager a number of times, but I think this "Dale Balderson" is just a voice on a voicemail because he is no where to be found and impossible to contact, and he is just so busy he cant call anyone back. Maybe they are so busy at Tysons Ford they dont need my vehicle nor my $2600. Tysons Ford use to be a great place to go for service, with the new manager it seems they have lost their great attitudes and with that my business and my friends business. More
Hi, I have tried to contact someone with Kipkillmons about the problems with the car. I was told by Cris that he needed to contact the service manager about the service records of the car over a week ag about the problems with the car. I was told by Cris that he needed to contact the service manager about the service records of the car over a week ago. I have not heard back from this guy. I have called for the last two days and left messages and no one has returned my calls. This car is not as described in this auction. Again I will list the issues I found with the car. 1. The car will not turn off from the inside/have to go under hood to shutoff. 2. No heat/air. Unit will not turn on. 3. Turn signals don't work. 4. No brake lights I knew this was not a new car but, these things are basic to think would function with a car. Also I asked very specific questions about the heat/air. And was told there was an issue with the vaccume but, would be repair before the car was shipped. I hoped Kipkillmons would be a stand-up business and try to resolve this but, not More
Bought a 99 Acura TL with 92,000 miles on it. The dealership would not negotiate the price (which was over priced considering the exterior condition) But we paid the amount anyways because it was wha dealership would not negotiate the price (which was over priced considering the exterior condition) But we paid the amount anyways because it was what we considered a reputable dealer. The service was very impersonal and I was NEVER offered a warranty. Well 2 days after we got the car home the transmission started to slip when it shifted. I immediately took it in to an aura dealership and they told me it needed to be replaced. I asked Acura if they could do it under their warranty since it had such low miles. They said no, which was understandable. Once I got done with Acura, I called Dale Balderson for a week without a return call.. And finally got ahold of him while I was waiting to go to work. He disagreed with me the entire way that I ruined the transmission and I hadnt even Had it for 2 weeks. And I know for a fact that a transmission can not go bad in even 2 weeks. But he told me he would call me back. And I ended up calling him again and they told me that he wasnt in that day, when I had just talked to him an hour before. When they directed me to his number, He denied the call and made it so I couldnt Even Leave a message. Im preparation for small claims court, I emailed him everything that I had told him on the phone, plus more that way it was in writing that I had informed him. He had Chris Mensel Call me, Chris first of all got smart with me telling me that I had it for a month and asked why He was hearing about it then. I told him that first of all I hadnt even had it for two weeks, and that I had been trying to get ahold of SOMEONE for a week. He quickly retracted and told me that I would have to bring it in to him which I live an hour and a half away and he didnt care. He then told me that if they do find that its bad that they can help me get a remanufactured one and that I would have to pay 75% of the cost. I told him no that he would have to pay for most if not all of the transmission, and he hung up on me. The small claims court is still in the process of going through... but I will never buy another acura or Buy from Kip Killmons Anything EVER again. More
I bought a used '04 Honda Accord and thought the service was good. I was the first customer on the lot on a Saturday morning, so I did not have to compete with other customers for attention. The salesmen was good. I was the first customer on the lot on a Saturday morning, so I did not have to compete with other customers for attention. The salesmen that I worked with (Nassar and Mike) as well as the manager (Allen) were pleasant to work with. I was pleased with the price and am fairly pleased with the car. The front end seems a bit out of alignment and there is some hail damage on the roof which I will admit is hard to detect. I did not see the damage on the lot and only noticed it when I had it in my garage at home. I was at the dealership by myself, so Mike and another employee of the dealership followed me out to my house with the car I had just purchased. I thought that was going above and beyond. More
I took in my Ford Escort because the AC was not working, it took them 3 days to fix the car. It needed a power control module replace to fix the AC, which I found out would cost about $570 all told. I go it took them 3 days to fix the car. It needed a power control module replace to fix the AC, which I found out would cost about $570 all told. I go to pick up the car, and when I get in, I noticed the passenger seat was wet.. xxx? I check the floor mats, wet, the carpet is SOAKED IN WATER FRONT AND BACK.. it had rained the night before, and apparently they LEFT THE WINDOWS OPEN IN THE RAIN ALL NIGHT.. Need I say anything else, the service manager had them wet vac it but they did such a bad job of cleaning up the mess it was still wet when I left the dealership.. I had to get some towels and dry out the carpet myself at home.. AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS! More
I went into this dealer already knowing what i was looking for, as I had seen it on their online inventory. As I first consulted the contact person, they were helping another customer and I was asked looking for, as I had seen it on their online inventory. As I first consulted the contact person, they were helping another customer and I was asked to wait (understandable, and I had no problem). He never came back to follow up and I saw him helping other customers before me. All I wanted to do was look at the car, so finally I just asked where it was and he told me, but didn't follow to assist me. Finally, after a few back and forth trip, another person on his team decided to be much more helpful. The original contact person never said another word to us until he saw my family driving a Range Rover out the parking lot, without the car we wanted to look at or any other one for that matter. He then wanted t be friendly... go figure. More
I bought a late model used vehicle from Tyson's Ford that came with a 30 day, 1000 mile warranty. I have had a very bad experience with four previous dealerships trying to purchase a particular vehicle. No one wanted to sell the car. No one was truthful. Everyone lied to me. I was acutally done, I would never buy another Ford. I have owned Ford's for years and so has by family. I decided to try one more time. Jeremey was very polite and did not act like he could not be bothered. I told him what I wanted to purchase, where the car was located and how much I wanted to pay. Within 30 minutes, he had called to dealership where the car was located; told me he could get it and would sell it to me for the price I wanted to pay. I did all of the paperwork that day. The following day was a holiday and not all dealerships were fully staffed. Jeremey went to get the car in the morning and I picked it up in the afternnon. Everything was very simple and straightforward. I'm sorry that the expereicne for the previous six weeks had been so painful. Thank you Jeremey and the entire team at Kim Kilmon's Tysons Ford for making this a pleasant expereience. Cindy Rogers More

I trusted that the description of the vehicle was accurate and truthful, but I was very disappointed that the condition of the vehicle was grossly misrepresented. They refuse to communicate with me. The Ebay description of the truck stated that: 1.) the transmission made on noise in first gear ( however it made a terrible noise in every gear and I have to install a new clutch and throwout bearing.) 2.) the truck runs fine (however it misses very badly) 3.) the 4WD works fine (however it doesn’t work at all and it makes a loud knocking noise) 4.) it has AC (but it does not work) 5.)the truck was a Lariat (but it is an XLT) 6.) the truck had a long bed (however it is a short bed, photos distorted) 7.) it has Power door Locks (but they do not work) 8.) it has keyless entry (but it does not) 9.) it has a security system (it does not) 10.) universal joint was about to fall out It has a few other problems, such as the parking brake light malfunctioning, but that’s not a big deal, but the first four above are. If the ad had been accurate, I would not have bid on the truck. I thought a dealer would disclose problems with a vehicle. More
