I have owned my Ford Escape for about 5 years now and have been using Kip Killmon's Tyson's Ford for service ever since even though I did not purchase my car from that dealer. The service desk and all the employees are wonderful -- polite, helpful, professional and always available to service my car the day I call. This time, I had not noticed that my car needed an inspection, but Jerry did and went ahead and had it done, which I really appreciated. I love my car and part of the reason I do is the great service and the ease of such service at this dealership. I have said before in my reviews that I will probably by another Ford when my Escape gives out (I hope not for a good while) just to keep using this wonderful service department! Thank you Jerry and all of you guys who have worked on my car over the years. More

This dealership has always been very accommodating to my service needs. I no longer work in N. VA and have been using another Ford dealership where I used to work in Columbia MD. However, I'm now a freelancer so have more options. It was very comforting to see Jerry Seaton still at the dealership; it gives you a sense of continuity...and acknowledges that an employer values its staff and that the employees want to still be there! Even though I live a distance away (approx. 20 mi.), the cab voucher makes a big difference in my decision to head to Tysons Corner. (On a separate note, I would also like to state that it was a bit off-putting that the instructions for this comment box were somewhat dictatorial! Listen, from a custom service/retention standpoint, you WANT feedback and all the studies show that the easier you make it, the greater the likelihood of a response. You ought to accept my numerical ratings, even if I chose not to provide a rationale. Telling me right up front--as you are soliciting my feedback--that failure to go above and beyond may invalidate the time I spent even coming here...so shame on that! It set a slightly negative tone, and only because I wanted to commend Jerry and his team did I even continue. Take the time and energy and develop even just a few more questions that will more directly speak to the typical reasons by someone would rate good or bad. Just my 2cents worth! Also, following submission, this site indicated I had to click on a link sent to my designated email, in order to activate this review, yet no such link appeared was provided in the email; only a link taking me back to edit the review. Scott Reinitz, the service advisor, listened carefully when i described the problems. He was clear and specific about what the technician would do. He called promptly with the diagnosis and cost estima when i described the problems. He was clear and specific about what the technician would do. The problems with the car seem to have been fixed. Scott was professional, personable, and a pleasure to work with. The woman working at the service cashier station when i dropped the car off on Thursday, October 24th was very helpful and pleasant in explaining the taxi shuttle system to me. More

I took my 2005 Ford Escape to Kip Killmon's Tysons Ford for a routine oil change and checkup, and immediately when I got in my vehicle to drive home, my Ford Escape felt, drove, and handled like brand Ford for a routine oil change and checkup, and immediately when I got in my vehicle to drive home, my Ford Escape felt, drove, and handled like brand new!!! I came to this dealership just to look at car options, not to actually buy. They told me to fill out a credit application without really telling me what it was for; as a first-time car buyer I wasn't sur not to actually buy. They told me to fill out a credit application without really telling me what it was for; as a first-time car buyer I wasn't sure what I was getting in to and had no idea a credit inquiry would show up on my credit score. Even though I kept repeating that I was not ready to buy that day - only look - they continued to press me to purchase and gave multiple offers. When I explained I was not in a position to put down a deposit, the salesperson I worked with offered to hold the car and lie to his manager, saying I'd put down a deposit when I hadn't. I walked away from the dealership and won't be back. More
