We’ve had our GX for five years. The initial sales experience was top-notch and the GX’s reliability has been superb over those five years with only routine maintenance items, ie oi The initial sales experience was top-notch and the GX’s reliability has been superb over those five years with only routine maintenance items, ie oil changes, tires, battery, etc. My only issue is Lexus’ cost for these services but I guess one should expect that with a luxury vehicle. Mechanic gave a cursory look over, checked off on thorough inspection, listed tires pressures at 32 yet they're 37/38, said transmission "learned" how to shift from prior owner so it's too bad about thorough inspection, listed tires pressures at 32 yet they're 37/38, said transmission "learned" how to shift from prior owner so it's too bad about the transmission jerking into gear, etc. I truly don't trust anything in his report.
