Dealer indicates that online prices are not negotiable. Arrived at dealer to test drive a vehicle that I saw online. I had not done business with this dealership in the past and was optimistic based on the Arrived at dealer to test drive a vehicle that I saw online. I had not done business with this dealership in the past and was optimistic based on the reviews. Prior to my visit, I had narrowed down a few vehicles after searching AutoTrader. I did my homework and had my bank run the VIN number through their lending application which approved me for a certain amount based on that specific vehicle. Basically, all that was needed was to agree on the price and fax over a PO to the bank. I made, what I thought was a fair offer, based on NADA and KBB reviews. The final offer, by the way, was the full amount that my bank was willing to give me for the vehicle. Incidentally, I have excellent credit. To my surprise, the sales agent indicated that the price on the internet was aggressively priced and no further negotiation took place. Wow, didn't see that coming. I understand that dealers make most of their revenue on trade-ins and used vehicles, but gosh. Be aware that non-negotiable internet pricing appears to be the practice at this dealership. Certainly no extra mile here, on my first visit, with the used car sales folks. Not a positive experience. More
