I am very UNhappy with my experience at Preston Hood Chevrolet! My car broke down and this dealership was the closest one. It took the service department 8 days to fix my vehicle. I never had confide Chevrolet! My car broke down and this dealership was the closest one. It took the service department 8 days to fix my vehicle. I never had confidence that they knew what the problem was. They gave me a loaner vehicle to get back home. They called me the next day asked if I could bring my spare key, it did not fix the issue and I had to drive back home. I live 3 and a half hours away. I spent a total of 14 hours on the highway, $150 in gas and a $1000 in repairs to get the problem fixed. In the end, the my vehicle was fine but, the loaner they gave me had a tiny scratch from a possible rock in the road. They made me file a claim with my insurance company for a small chip in the paint. Which cost another $500 I feel like they tried to milk me for every dime they could get. If your car breaks down in the area or you must seek a chevy delearship, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! More

Brought my car to this PrestonHood Chevrolet for minor service issues and detailing. 10 days after dropping the car off, I returned to pick up the care, only to finds that the detailing and service perf service issues and detailing. 10 days after dropping the car off, I returned to pick up the care, only to finds that the detailing and service performed were incomplete, and that I had been over-charged based upon the initial quote. Service writer was friendly and did attempt to "right the wrongs" by refunding overages charged. Nonetheless, I was AGAIN forced to leave the car with the dealer for additional time. AGAIN, I returned to the dealer to pick the car up, this time to find the car repairs completed (however one additional item that was added when I previously attempted to pick the car up was overlooked). Nonetheless, the detailing that I had paid for STILL was incomplete and appeared to be nothing more than a very expensive wash, wax, and interior clean ... NOT the detailing "that we do to trade-ins", as promised ... engine compartment remained uncleaned, as did the wheel wells, interior windows were only partly cleaned ... could have gotten a better "detailing" from detailers for half the price.
