The service department totally misdiagnosed my minor transmission issues as a bad clutch plate that they had in stock and would cost $2500. Another dealer put on a new transmission control module covere transmission issues as a bad clutch plate that they had in stock and would cost $2500. A skilled mechanic could replace it in 1 hour but Preston has to charge 3 hours labor which I find totally absurd!! No more than 2 hours labor would of been plenty. I talked to Carol the Service manager and all she could say was I didn't say we were the cheapest. I will never deal with Preston again. I wouldn't even gave them 1 star but you have to put in something. I am in market for new car but it won't be from any of Preston's dealership. Would not recommend them to anyone. More

I went here to get a remote start system installed for a I went here to get a remote start system installed for a vehicle I have. I order that and two other things over the telephone and they took about o I went here to get a remote start system installed for a vehicle I have. I order that and two other things over the telephone and they took about one week to come in. I was able to schedule an appointment for the next Monday to be able to have it installed. I got there and everything went well until they told me they needed two keys to program the system. I don't know about other people, but I don't keep two keys in the automobile. I had no choice but to let them cut a new one, otherwise it would've been 90 minutes back home and 90 minutes right back to the dealership. The installation was a lot faster than I was quoted, so I was pleased with that. However, I was not pleased that they charged me $170 for a key and $30 to program it. They didn't give a remote, just the key. Even worse is it says Ford on it, instead of the Lincoln symbol. The labor cost was fine, but I did not like that they force an extra $200 out of me. When I spoke with the person who scheduled the appointment, he did not mention to bring two keys. Had I known that, I obviously would've brought the extra key and saved the $200. They may have gained that money, but they've lost six potential customers (my family and me). I will never go to this dealership for anything ever again and will be informing all friends and other family of their horrible business practices. More
My 2010 Ford Edge body work from a minor accident as well as a normal service check. After the insurance company was advised that I would take car to Preston Ford where I purchased vehicle, the next call I r as a normal service check. After the insurance company was advised that I would take car to Preston Ford where I purchased vehicle, the next call I received was from Cherrita Cox of Preston who was pleasant, organized and helpful. About a month later, I called Cherrita to schedule a time and she had a rental car(paid for by insurance) waiting when I arrived. When the repair was taking longer than planned and threatening an scheduled out of town appointment, Cherrita expedited the job. Cherrita was always on top of the situation and made sure I was advised immediately. She even read ny manual to explain to me how to correct a problem I was having with my radio. This might appear a bit peculiar to you, but...I spent the most awesome day on Thursday the 24th of March at Preston Ford. I can honestly say that I departed from there about 6 hours later with more than I had brought with me, emotionally and physically; 2 new tires. They had to order the tires I needed and I decided that I would rather wait than come back at another date. The people there are friendly and courteous from the mechanics to the sales people and to the office personnel. I might even say that when lunchtime came around they asked if there was anything that they could get for me. I read,sat and observed, and met many beautiful and varied neighbors; a buffet of people walked through their doors,and Preston Ford dealt with all of us in the same manner......GRACIOUSLY.
