Prestige Toyota of Ramsey - Service Center

My name is Joseph Bonelli and I live in Staten Island. In the last ten years I have purchased five vehicles from Prestige Toyota. I could bring my cars to a local dealer but I choose to drive 40 miles each w the last ten years I have purchased five vehicles from Prestige Toyota. I could bring my cars to a local dealer but I choose to drive 40 miles each way to have them serviced by Prestige. From the moment the car enters the service center you are treated like a king. The reps and the manager really know their stuff. They are reliable and thorough and I've never had to return a vehicle because a service wasn't compleated correctly. The service center is immaculate and the cars are always returned clean and looking like new. I have recommended both family and friends to Prestige Sales & Service. More

Ever since Prestige moved to a standalone service center from their previous location, I had this coupon for a free oil change. Took my 02 MR2 there last month to get the oil change since it was free. Usual from their previous location, I had this coupon for a free oil change. Took my 02 MR2 there last month to get the oil change since it was free. Usually do my own, but since I had this coupon for 3 years sitting on it, thought I'd use it. Finding the new place was easy with the direction, the place was busy but then is was a saturday and all those recent recalls.... Getting my MR2 back, most places don't see a lot of them, those with the SMT, even less.. After the usual car talk and explaining the SMT to the folks there, got the car back, drove home. Drove for about a week, to notice that the xxxxxxx never fully tightened the oil drain plug. I find an oil sheen in my driveway after the next rain. Checked and filled up the oil, and of course, torqued the bolt down. Bozos never even responded to my email when I contacted them to inform that those xxxxxxx never tightened the bolt, and oil was slowly (thank god) dripping. Don't trust them for anything more serious than perhaps cleaning the windshield (maybe not that either).. Jay More

I bought my Rav 4 there in 2005 from very pushy and unknowledgeable sales "professionals." But that's not the worst of it, I took my car in for service and picked it up a few days later to find they ha unknowledgeable sales "professionals." But that's not the worst of it, I took my car in for service and picked it up a few days later to find they had put 1000 miles on the car and also stated they could not find the problem I brought the car in for. They denied putting the mileage on the car but luckily I had the car towed there by AAA who documented the mileage. Unfortunately, this matter is still unresolved. More
