We explained this to Todd and he passed us on to Amelio. Amelio offered us a price based on limited choices in color, took away the comfort package and said we had to pick it up by Wednesday- the day of the noreaster. We decided to call around to all the NJ dealerships and see what other offers we could get. Apparently, Lexus has a loyalty program where they will put down 1,000 towards a leased car if you have had a lexus as your last car!!!??? REALLY! the ONLY dealership to tell us about this was BRIDGEWATER. They not only gave us the 1000 towards the car but gave us a 2013 with all the packages and our choice in color....for less money out of pocket AND 20 dollars a month less in payments. AND they were soooo nice! they held the car until Saturday for pick up as well. Its important to note that of all the quotes we received, Prestige was the most out of pocket with the highest payment monthly and with the least amount of amenities. When i asked Amelio why he didnt tell us about the loyalty program he couldnt give me a good answer. GO TO BRIDGEWATER- we worked with Carol, Peter and Scott- More
I was in the market for a used AWD vehicle and came across a listing for a Jaguar X sedan at the dealership. Well after assisting me with financing I took posession of the car last week after a brief test drive one evening in the rain. I was treated extremely professionally and with much courtesy even though I was not purchasing a new Lexus. But first day driving in the sun I realized how pitted the windshield was I just could not see. I called the dealer, a bit upset since this was a safety issue and to make a long story short they installed a new Jaguar windshield at no cost to me. Now that proved to me how much they valued my business. Great people; Eric Miller the GM of the dealership went out of his way to help me. I will tell anyone I know who is looking for a Lexus or a used vehicle to go there. (PS my daughter got a new Corolla next door at their Toyota dealership also great buying experience). More
Avoid this dealership. They sell Certified LEMONS of Lexus. We bought a certified lexus out of state and sight unseen, and have to depend of the WORDS/PROMISES of Steve (internet sales) but it turned ou Lexus. We bought a certified lexus out of state and sight unseen, and have to depend of the WORDS/PROMISES of Steve (internet sales) but it turned out to be bad. Their after-sales attitude were terrible, so was their excessive charges for out of state license fees. In addition, the car came with Brake Vibration but unfortunately that was not covered under Lexus Certified Warranty. The car was on their lot over 6 months unsold. When asked why, Steve said "absolutely nothing wrong. Perfectly Beautiful like new, and I have personally gone out inspecting it". We did contract a company to test drive before buying and shipped to us. It took less than 2 days (about 36 hours) for the car to arrive at our driveway after leaving Prestige dealership. 2 things we noticed immediately. (1) A 1-inch long narrow rust next to the side mirror. (2) Lots of chips at the hood, looked pretty ugly but luckily no rusts there. So it's very UGLY should we say, compared to the perfectly beautiful like new claim and lies of Steve. But the RUST on the side mirror really turns us off. We call Steve immediately and he had the typical after-sales BAD attitude, and claim the rust was caused by Shipping company and we should file claims against that company!!! Wow! Steve! we told him basic science says RUST never not develop in 36 hours. And Steve turned around started blaming us the customers for not properly inspecting it with the Test Drive company we contracted earlier. Wow Steve! What an attitude, After-Sales?!! I have to drill all the way up to Lexus Corporate to find someone to pull a string for another inspection at my local very reputable Lexus dealership. The service manager of 20 years also could not identify the rusted spot after 2 attempts, and I had to point it out for him. He agreed that rusted spot must be there for at least 2 MONTHS. Yes, 2 Months minimum or probably even YEARS he said, due to the quality built of lexus against rust. Lexus Corporate finally agreed to absorb the charges on the repair of the rusted spot and a losen rear-view mirror. We specifically asked about the license plate processing duration and fees TWICE since we were at different state. Steve said the charges would be the same as our local DMV. But guess what? (1) Prestige sent the license plate processing to a different company in our state that charges us DOUBLING fees of DMV. Well, Steve, I guess that must be your brother-in-law huh? (2) And due to the mailing of to-and-fro of license plate, we received the final plate 3 days after our temporary plate had expired. We stick to our own integrity of not getting a rented car (as agreed on Prestige expense) as we did not need extra car during that 3 days. But we did have to pay excessive fees to the sister-company of Prestige to process a license plate, and of course Steve did not have the integrity to reply back to us about this excessive fees and his broken promises. Avoid Prestige Lexus. They sell Certified Lemon. PS Edit: Prestige GM and Internet Sales Manager called/email. I emailed back but no response since. Therefore this review would stand as it is. More
From initial inquiries to the actual purchase of my 2013 RX350, I was able to rely upon all terms and pricing agreed upon. I am 67 years old and this was by best car buying experience. I purchase CPO cars and Prestige Lexus have not only had excellent inventory but prices too. I am very happy with my purchase and overall sales process. My boyfriend had just purchased a Lexus ES350, which he loves. We test drove it with Brad McGowan, and he was just very patient with my boyfriend, since it was his first car purchase and he had a lot of qu loves. My boyfriend has officially had the car for 3 days and he only have positive comments about the vehicle. It makes me really happy that he got the car he wanted, but it also makes me happy that Prestige Lexus took care of every single detail. We were looking to trade in our Lexus Es for a new model and Demetre was excellent in the entire sales process. He is very knowledgeable with the electronic aspects of the car as well, as the navigation ta and Demetre was excellent in the entire sales process. I was very disappointed with my purchase. I was sold a demo over the phone since the car that I was promised was sold. When I took delivery the car was filthy. I was told to bring it back to get detailed demo over the phone since the car that I was promised was sold. When I took delivery the car was filthy. I was told to bring it back to get detailed which I did a few days later to find out the dirt was covering the paint clips on hood, lights and bumper. Hood was the only thing fixed and I was told not to touch the rest cause it won't blend. I felt like the sold me a used car instead of a new one. Very upset and disappointed. The worst part is the mgr said oh we lowered your payment by $20 and gave you a free remote starter. If I new the car was damaged I never would have taken it. Oh and the detail department is the worst I have ever seen. Both times they detailed the car the windows were foggy, water stains on exterior and full of finger prints. I returned yet again (3rd time) after I received a phone call from the General Sales Mgr, Pranav Gill. He then said all we are going to to is take care of the bumper and fully detail the car again. I picked the car up this morning after he said he inspected it himself and found glue and they just filled in the scratched with paint. They also did not detail the back hatch door and the bottom of the drivers side door (lower panel). When I sent him a picture he said you must have drives it cause there is dirt. What de did not realize that what he saw was the reflection of the concrete not the glue. I am disgusted with the dealership and I hope Lexus addresses these issues so no one has to have the horrific experience I had. Also, senior management needs to clean house at Prestige. They totally ruined the new car buying experience for me :( I also felt like they were trying to bully me because they found out I put this review up to change it to a positive review. We were at the dealer couple of hours finishing up all the documents and he still took the time to go over everything in the car thoroughly and patiently. Gene has already contacted me twice to follow up on the car and make sure everything was ok since we've met. Have not interacted with the service dept. yet but will follow up. More
