As a returning customer to Prestige Lexus of Ramsey, I recently purchased a new 2012 IS 250. I had the pleasure of working with Nick Manzi as my Sales Consultant. Nick is a true professional with great integrity and the highest ethics. He knows how to make a customer feel at home in the dealership and he answered all of my questions. I have to say, this is the first time I bought a car without feeling any pressure and the stall tactic of having to "meet the manager" to close the deal. It was rather refreshing! Nick took me for a test drive of the IS 250 and I liked it very much. I was delighted to learn the dealer still had a few 2012 IS 250's in stock and the trade-in offered for my 1998 Lexus ES 300 nearly matched the Kelly Blue Book value. I put down a deposit and Nick told me when the car arrived the next day if I wasn't 100% satisfied, I wasn't obligated to take it. That is really what helped me make my decision to proceed. No pressure. Nick is a class act. The following day, I came to test drive the vehicle that would be mine if I decided to close the deal. Nick not only let me test drive the vehicle again, but he agreed to drive the car so I could get the feel of being a passenger. The online reviews of the back seats of the IS 250 stated they weren't very roomy. Seeing it in person, I felt differently. After finalizing the deal, Nick took me inside the car and showed me the ins and outs of it. He paired my phone and showed me how to set Satellite stations. Nick then took me through the Service Center showing me where I would come when it was time for my car to be serviced and if I wanted a complimentary car wash, coffee and refreshments. I was pleased to recognize Service Consultants from 15 years ago! That says alot about a dealership. Must be a great place to work! We finished up with me purchasing the wheel/tire extended warranty and I had the pleasure of meeting Jane Toledano, another class act. More
After leasing two RX 350's my wife and I were thinking about trying another Manufacturer. After visiting other dealers and hearing about their SUV we returned to Prestige Lexus to meet with our thinking about trying another Manufacturer. After visiting other dealers and hearing about their SUV we returned to Prestige Lexus to meet with our sales consultant, Demetre Stathopoulos. Demetre took the time to go over feature by feature the RX versus the other SUV we looked at. He even gave us written comparisons. It became clear the RX 350 exceeded the other models we looked at. The next objective was price. Multiple alternatives were offered to help us meet our target price. The General Sales Mgr., Eric Miller came out to meet with my wife and I. He again helped make the deal possible. We decided after buying the 350 to have side trim installed. Again the service team made that happen that same day. Prestige and their team showed they know how to reward Customer Loyalty. More
Originally I had went and purchased a QX56 which was a beautiful truck yet i was not treated the way a customer should be. About a week later my father was having health issues which cause problems to get beautiful truck yet i was not treated the way a customer should be. About a week later my father was having health issues which cause problems to get in and out of the car he currently had which was an expedition so the QX56 was not going to be good for me but we could have handled it. About a week later I saw an advertisement for the new GS and thought maybe I should look at it. I then went and called Prestige Lexus and spoke to James "Jim" McAlevey. Notice I put Jim in quotes cause that's how they make you feel there. I had questions and they never pushed me into anything and were just nothing but first class and as kind as people could be. As much as I love the GS, it was the respect and people Prestige Lexus employees that will keep me a life long customer. Scott Rieger, who is the Director of Financial Services there did something though I have never seen as a gentleman in his position at a dealership: He truly cares about his customers as if they are his family. I can ramble on and on but I think this one sentence should sum up what these gentleman are all about; We didn't just get the GS350 AWD F Sport, we got a RX350 AWD, and an ISF all within less than 2 weeks of getting the GS. If I ever have the opportunity to own a dealership or be in a position to have the pleasure to have them on my team, the sky is the limit. More
I highly recommend this dealership for purchase and servicing of any Lexus vehicle!!! I didn't feel like I was being taken advantage because I am a woman . I had a fantastic experience in the service department with Walter Kosik. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, honest and professional. Walter kept me in the loop during the repair process. He had my RX350 in and out of the shop very quickly. Following the repair , I received a follow up phone call from a Prestige Lexus rep (I forgot his name) in addition to correspondence from the Director of Service Michael Ceccon asking me if there were any outstanding issues.Of course there were none. I was totally satisfied. EXCELLENT customer service to say the least. I would not hesitate to go back again for servicing or to purchase another Lexus from this great dealership. Thanks Prestige!!!!! I brought my RX330 in for scheduled maintenance today and it was another great experience. All of the employees at Prestige treat you like family. They cannot help you enough. Although the dealership is always busy, I feel as if I am the only customer as there is so much emphasis on personal attention. My wife and I purchased a certified used 2010 Lexus RX 350. We shopped around for a long time. Prestige was one of the dealers we frequented during this process. We finally came across a good-looking 2010; it had a scratch or two on the backend but otherwise it was in pristine condition in regard to the paint finish - or so we thought. I treat all my cars with great attention - I've been doing this for years. In fact, I spent an-other $350 right then at the Parts Dept for body side molding, edge guards, and mud flaps; plus another $350 or so for brand name floor mats, including the cargo bay in the rear. Although, the car was perfectly clean when we took possession, I nevertheless washed and waxed it as soon as we got home with it. You know the proud new owner type. It took about a week or so, but bit by bit, I began to notice all these dings in the paint job - especially the hood and the front bumper. They started to appear daily; every morning I looked at the car and there would be a new set of scratches/dings. And we had hardly used the car. After about a month, the hood looked absolutely horrible. At first, I couldn't figure how this was happening. Then I realized that Prestige Lexus must have covered the mess up somehow. Believe me; I take care of my cars. I keep them till they die and they never look like this Lexus does. I found out from another Lexus dealership that there is a polymer that can be rubbed in and it will cover all these imperfections. It only lasts about 4 to 6 months. You see, the thing is that I was not supposed to wax the car so soon, if at all. This hastened the 'wear off' period. Otherwise, it's practically the perfect crime as far as Prestige Lexus was concerned. The purchaser wouldn't normally think of the dealership as at-fault after 6 months I went back to Prestige Lexus after a month. The Used Car Sales Manager, ELGIN SWIFT, looked at the car. I could tell he recognized the condition but he was clearly puzzled as to why it surfaced so soon - until I told him I waxed the car. ELGIN SWIFT disavowed any responsibility whatsoever. Elgin stated that all the dam-age occurred after I took possession of the car. ELGIN blamed everything under the sun: it was the car wax I used; the way I rubbed the wax off; parking the car in the supermarket lot (which we never did), etc, etc. They wanted to charge us $900 to fix it. Why should we pay $900? They should have fixed the car before they sold it us. I didn't have a legal leg to stand on. There was nothing I could do. If they did this to me, then they've done it before and they will do it again. Bottom line is BUYER BEWARE. If they want to screw you, there's a hundred ways they can and you won't realize it (if at all) until it’s too late. More
