Dear JCA jr: My name is Joe Billotti and I am the general manager of Prestige Lexus, in Ramsey, NJ. I am sorry that Elgin Swift, our pre-owned sales manager, was not able to satisfy you. As the highest-volume Lexus dealer for both new and Certified Pre-Owned Lexus in the New York metropolitan area, it is highly unlikely that we would be able “screw,” as you allege, our customers, and sustain the level of business that we have. Based on word-of-mouth referrals, social media and rating and review sites just like this one (we are, in fact, a DealerRater-Certified dealership) it just isn’t possible (not to mention, it’s just not the way we conduct ourselves). For further peace of mind, please note that every Certified Pre-Owned Lexus, yours’ included, must meet a rigorous, 161-point inspection that covers mechanical components and cosmetic appearance.
