Our salesperson did a professional job as a salesman, but could have been friendlier. We had two visits. The first one was to test drive vehicles. The salesman was polite, and professional, but his demeanor was aloof. He pointed out the features and told us the advantages of the car, and made sure he told us about the 1.9% financing being offered on CPOs. So he did everything he was supposed to do. It was just that he didn't seem particularly happy to meet us or show us the cars--he did it because he had to. This being our first Lexus, we weren't sure if thats how they operate--"our cars sell themselves so we don't try to sell them." But we are not strangers to ther luxury car market, having owned 2 BMWs in the past, and we both found oursleves remarking that he didn't seem particularly interested in wotking with us. He did handle the purchase paperwork quickly and professionally, albeit without any enthusiasm. Our second visit was to pick up the car. We had told him we could be there by 6.30. He was pushing for 6, and we commited to 'between 6-6.30' (as I was coming from work, 40 miles away, in traffic). When we arrived at 6.30 he made a point of telling us we were late for our appointment and so had thrown off the entire process (eg, now he was going to have to show us how to use the car instead of the person that was supposed to). We let it slide, even though we were both upset with his attitude, as we'd tried extremely hard to get there as early as we could. Seeing as how we were about to spend ~$30k (incl extras that Jeffrey sold us), we expected a warmer greeting upon our arrival! All in all, they made it painless and quick, we got a great deal, and its the best looking, best handling hybrid on the road today!! More
