Excellent purchasing experience #17 I have been purchasing my cars from Prescott Brothers in Mendota since 1992 and have bought a total of 17 cars there since then, both for myself and m I have been purchasing my cars from Prescott Brothers in Mendota since 1992 and have bought a total of 17 cars there since then, both for myself and members of my immediate family. My wife of one year just purchased a Dodge Journey from Duane; as always, the entire procedure was completed flawlessly. My wife’s previous vehicle from another manufacturer had been leased; Duane Staus and Tom Prescott were able to clear the red tape involving the lease so that we could trade that previous vehicle. A round trip from my residence near Chicago to and from Mendota is 150 miles; the trips I have made for vehicles and service have been well worth my time. My own car is being serviced here now, and I plan to buy my next car here soon. Thanks very much, Duane! More
Bad deal turned into great deal My boyfriend and I purchased a 2007 Chevy Impala from Pat Becker in July 2016. 2 days after having the vehicle the check engine light came on so we ca My boyfriend and I purchased a 2007 Chevy Impala from Pat Becker in July 2016. 2 days after having the vehicle the check engine light came on so we called Pat and told him. We took the vehicle back to the dealership and they had it for a few days. We picked the vehicle back up and drove it home( approximately 50 miles) and when we got home the check engine light was back on so we took it back to the dealership. They had the car checked over and finally came to the conclusion that they could not fix the car so they traded us into a 2007 Ford Mustang convertible. Pat B., Rich V., and the staff at Prescott Brothers Mendota turned what started out as a bad deal into a great deal and resolved our problem. Thanks for doing such a great job guys!!!! More
POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS AND SERVICE We bought a truck in Nov it was supposedly inspected and we were told it was road ready, 5000 miles later we took it in for an oil change and and it w We bought a truck in Nov it was supposedly inspected and we were told it was road ready, 5000 miles later we took it in for an oil change and and it wad inspected again the service tech Zachary Frank failed to find bad tie rod ends while under the truck doing the oil change??? Really??? How can you find a burnt out lic plate light and a spare needing to be replaced, but cant find something as important as the tie rod ends........Then MR TOM PRESCOTT the xxx wants to xxxxx at me for having it fixed somewhere else and then asking for a reimbursement for the cost of the repair He refused to refund me, or apologize for the issue and then this xxx hangs up on me... I won't be giving up failure to disclose info is a CRIME IT'S CALLED AUTO DEALER FRAUD More

They found the best interest rate available. Jeff Fish was an awesome person to work with. He was down to earth and very helpful, but never pushy. I feel very confident that I made a great choice buying my car through them. More
No one ever calls you back except for the salesman I have had my 2014 Dodge since August, and have had a couple of issues that no one seems to be worried about and to be honest they aren't the worst th I have had my 2014 Dodge since August, and have had a couple of issues that no one seems to be worried about and to be honest they aren't the worst things to have happen but it's been in for service several times and the issue hasn't been resolved nor have I been told why my vehicle is doing this. Oh I've been given a lot of song and dance, and I do mean a lot of dance! But still no clear reason why this vehicle equipped with the same options my last 2 Dodge's had that never did this. 2 weeks ago one of the top "people" at the dealership came to talk to me while I was bring the vehicle in for service. I don't know who he was nor do I care who is was. He took me into this side I would call it back room to talk to me.. Strange enough to start with but why he took me here I wasn't sure nor did I like being in this room. Oh well, that being said this gentleman tells me he now has another vehicle doing the same thing. The vehicle try's to lock and unlock itself and flashes the tail lights and some times the headlights when you get the doors wet. It will even flash them if it rains real hard. Now this was the second person that was going to call me within a couple of days. The last time I had to call them back after 4 weeks. Now this gentleman was going to call me back either the Monday or Tuesday after I was in the service department. Now I haven't heard a word from them since. I have given everyone my cell number to contact me because I do travel for work and not always there to get all the messages. I feel that this dealership thinks I'm just going to go away and let this go. They are mistaken big time. Because the more time that passes the more this grates on me and the further I'm going to go till I get a positive answer on why someone would build a vehicle that has these issues without a fix. It would seem to me, now I'm just speaking about myself, if a car builder was building several models that have the same set up that within 4 or 5 years someone besides me would have had this issue and there would be a fix or that there would be a notice on the car, please don't get it wet because the lights will flash and we have no idea of how to fix it . More
