I first collected contact information at most dealers over phone. My experience is that the website forms are not taken seriously. I had many auto-replies to come visit them, marketing, or no replies from the dealers I used the on-line forms to contact. I should have called all of them first. It's much better to set up at least a call contact with someone to let them know you were serious about actually buying a car. Premier was the only one that didn't counter and accepted my offer. From there, it was a smooth process of providing a deposit then going in to sign papers and drive home. Cody was the most accommodating salesperson at a car dealer I've ever worked with. More
