Dear Meggan/ We truly disagree with your review and believe it is quite unfair. On October 6, 2016 at 96,133 you brought your vehicle in for a routine oil change. On December 9th, we heard from you and you represented that the oil had leaked out of your vehicle. We were not permitted to see the vehicle at the time, and, you indicated that you had 99,000 miles on the car. It was more than 3 months and 3,000 miles after you picked up the vehicle from our service. While under no obligation, we spoke with you on the phone and sent you an email that even offered you an $80 coupon off future services. We did not hear from you - up until this unfair review. At all times where you treated correctly and respectfully. We have not seen this vehicle since the beginning of October, but do note that the vehicle was declared a "Total Loss" on December 4, 2016, as identified by the insurance company.

Mr. Donat/ As you know from communications with our company, as well as from Kia directly, our company did no wrong in this matter. We have collectively become used to your use of social media to air your side of the story when you have not achieved your personal desired result. Our file is quite extensive with your emails and threats of negative publicity if you didn't get something from us. As we have mentioned to you, we no longer desire to proceed in business relationship with you. This was relayed to Kia and, they were supportive of this decision. We truly will do whatever it takes to satisfy a customer, but, in your case, you just don't seem to be satisfied if you don't have it your way. You have a track record of moving from dealership to dealership when the relations tire, and, there is no reason to believe you will not continue in that regard. We wish you the best in the future and, have closed our files in this matter.

Dear Mr. Torres/ Please allow us to set the record straight on this matter, as, you are not being factual. You called our service department on Saturday, August 22nd concerning a problem with your vehicle. Our service department indicated that, we would absolutely have an appointment for you on September 1st (since it was not an emergency) due to our schedule and, we would call you if we could get you in prior to that date. On Monday, August 24th, you came in - absent of an appointment - at 7:30am demanding that we look at your vehicle. You were not happy that our service department couldn't look at your vehicle immediately, nor, accepted that - if you left the car, we would have made every attempt to fit it in during the day to help you. We understand that you live in Meriden and have taken your vehicle to the Kia dealer you reference as you have only taken advantage of the free service we provided you and some warranty claims. Your vehicle is now outside of the warranty provisions. We believe that we have been kind to you and have attempted to work with you. We are sorry that you feel otherwise.

Let me set the record straight. Based on your response, I was never told any of it. 1. I was never told that if I left my car you would have someone look at it if an opening became available that day or any other. 2. There was oil leaking into my spark plugs, how does this not constitute a type of an emergency? Especially, since this same problem was dealt with on another occasion (June 2014) and handled by your service department. Check your records or I can provide you with mine. 3. I did not come in there demanding anything. I did not ask for immediate service. That is a lie. I would like to know what free service you are referring to? I have never been offered or received any free service. Any service I received from the dealership I have paid for, with the exception of any warranty items, which wasn't free since I paid for it(again, I can provide documentation). I used to get my oil changes from Branford on a regular basis, but I found the service lacking even then. The reason I kept going there was because I bought the oil changes in bulk, which was economical for me. Due to lack of customer service, I decided to give my business to the Wallingford dealership. I suggest you conduct further research and check the dealership records because my vehicle is not outside the warranty provisions. You have not been kind or attempted to work with me. To this day I still have not received a phone call from anyone. The only communication has been this review.
