Need a more systematic approach to finalizing the sale - downtime waiting for finance person was a waste and irritating and could have been productively spent showing me how to use the car systems. I was very statisfied with the cu Premier Hyundai of Oakland found me a 2016 Tucson within 24 hours of contact from Charles Mechura, the sales person. I was very statisfied with the customer service at this dealership and will recommend it to my Daughter who owns a Genesis and is thinking of trading it in. I had started my car search & purchase with another dealership closer to my home. I'd given them a downpayment check for a Tucson Eco two weeks earlyer and was told a car would be located and I'd be called back. After two weeks with no call back, return call or status, my Daughter put my info into the TrueCar search site. Charles Mechura called us back within minutes. I purchased the car from Charles in Oakland the very next day. My faith in Hyundai sales was restored by him. Thank you! More

Horrible dealership that needs revamped. This place is ridiculous. Upon walking in, it feels like your in an old school warehouse rather than a car dealership. Nothing fancy like modern deale This place is ridiculous. Upon walking in, it feels like your in an old school warehouse rather than a car dealership. Nothing fancy like modern dealerships. The only thing making the place feel like a dealership are a couple cars parked in the building along with a few posters here and there. The dealers I worked with were friendly, but REFUSED to work on me with price. I understand that my price walking in was good, but I've never heard of a dealership not willing to haggle with its customers to make a sale. They just kept repeating that its already at such a low price blah blah blah. Whatever, I know there's still wiggle room. Eventually went with the car because They had exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately for me I didn't notice the cars condition until AFTER leaving the dealership, since the car was parked in the back of their warehouse, in a low lit room, not allowing for much success on inspection. After I drove back home, I noticed shortly within a few days that the cars detail job was xxxxty, with a wax job that was covered in swirls so bad you could see them from any angle, as well as scratches under the door handle. The car was also filthy, which honestly was my fault because i told them not to worry about it, BECAUSE I DIDN'T EXPECT A DEALERSHIP TO ALLOW THEIR CARS TO LOOK AS THOUGH THEY'VE BEEN BURIED UNDER THE DIRT FOR MONTHS. At that point, purchasing the car took all day and I just wanted to get home. The car was missing multiple accessories, such as a missing floor mat, spare key, navigation card, even the user guide. Was promised all of this would be mailed to me so I wouldn't have to waste miles on my car to drive all the way back there, only to be told a couple weeks later that I had to come in to get the parts. I scheduled a service appointment several weeks in advance, so I had less of a chance on waiting when I came in on other customers being in the way. When i finally came, the dealership claimed there were still several other cars ahead of me. Odd since I scheduled so far in advance. most of my missing stuff was given to me within 30 minutes of arrival, with the spare key needing to be programmed. I made several other requests to take care of the detail job, the scratches under the door handle, washing the car, and vacuuming the glass out of the car that they failed to get when i purchased the car. 4 hours later and the dealership had only programmed my key. I eventually got fed up after so long that i just gave up on them because the service guy claimed they couldn't even get to wash my car or vacuum it out until the end of the day, IF THAT. Premier my xxx! Premier Hyundai of Oakland has to be THE WORSE dealership I've ever dealt with. All of these issues, with a BRAND NEW car!? The waiting period during the purchasing process gave them all plenty of time to have the car ready for me, which they obviously failed to do. Everything was thrown at me last minute such as broken glass (from a riot that occurred in their area months before) only told to me within the last few minutes of purchasing process being completed, and missing accessories only as I was finally about to drive away from the dealership. More
