Avoid at all costs. Beware of this dealership all together. My complaint originated in the service department but has now extended up through management all the way t Beware of this dealership all together. My complaint originated in the service department but has now extended up through management all the way to the top to the general manager of the dealership. If you have ever had the thought that the dealerships are trying to extort you and take you for every cent they can, you are absolutely right. This dealership will manipulate your already concerning issue for their financial gain and then give you the run around when you inquire further. Check engine light came on while in the mountains which was tripped due to cold weather for a short in the DEF tank heater which was scanned the next day and confirmed this was the ONLY code. Took my truck in to the dealer just to have a "new code" come up for my thermostats that would cost $1,000 to repair while the DEF heater was covered under warranty. It took them a full day to hook up their scanner. Wouldn't you know it that when i picked my truck up that night, not only was the check engine light on but also a slew of other lights/messages that advised my truck would be limited to a reduced speed if not addressed. I drove the truck for 4 days and over 300 miles with ZERO issues until i dropped it off at the dealership for diagnostic. I thought it was odd that they needed me to drop my truck off for an ENTIRE DAY just to hook up a scanner and pull some codes. I should have known i was in for a ride when that the gentleman in line with me that first day told me about his continued issues with his truck. Check engine light constantly comes on, truck has been in the service bays more than his driveway, and he can't even get the truck into the driveway of Carmax to trade it in because the check engine light keeps coming on. The service department likes to pass the buck of responsibility when pushed for an answer to your concerns: "I am not familiar with your repairs, I will get back to you tomorrow morning." "I don't have any technicians available to inquire further with.". Don't expect a call back whenever one is promised. I received an email the day my truck was ready for pick up and that I would be called to come pick it up. I ended up walking to the dealership right before closing because I did not receive a phone call just to find out that the tech who told me my vehicle would be ready and he would call, had gone home early(again). When I sent in my certified complaint to the dealership's general manager, Matt Oberly, I never received any contact from him, his office, his managerial staff, or anyone outside of the service department to acknowledge/respond to my concerns. Instead I get a phone call from the "director of service" Mike Ito who advised that he had "kind of read through my complaint" and wanted to see what I was looking for to resolve my issue. Not ONCE did he apologize for my inconvenience or the experience that I received from his staff or inquired of how he could better the experience moving forward but rather he attempted to merely inquire of what i was looking for with regards to compensation, just to shut me up and get my file off of his desk. Mike had advised he would call me back after speaking with the GM and wouldn't you know it, no return calls until more than 3 weeks later after I had left multiple messages just to follow up on our previous conversations. Now I understand where the techs get the notion that it is okay to not return customer phone calls or address customer concerns, it comes from the very top of the management at the dealership and works its way the whole way down the chain. Since filing my complaint, Mike has advised that he will not provide any concessions to resolve my issues and essentially told me to pound sound with regards to my concerns. The same complaint that went unanswered by General Manager, Matt Oberly, was sent to GM Global and they are assisting me with my complaint so that I can locate a HONEST and REPUTABLE dealership to further take care of my Silverado which I pay for with my hard earned money. Also, don't plan on ever getting through to the service department. You'll be transferred where the phone will ring nonstop just to be answered an hung up on, multiple times in a row. This was brought up to management and the staff previously and all that was said, "it was super busy that day". If there is one thing that this dealership does exceptional on, it's passing the buck and making excuses. Avoid this dealership at all costs unless you like to be taken advantage of and treated like your vehicle and your concerns aren't worth the dealerships time. PS - After all of this has happened, I received a call from a salesman who asked if I was interested in trading my truck in for a newer Silverado since I had such low miles on mine. This person had no idea of the issues I had experienced and after being advised, still pushed to try to get me to discuss trading in my truck. LACK OF COMMUNICATION TO CUSTOMERS AND AMONGST EACH OTHER! More
