Lousy Service They did not do one thing I requested, the service guy was clueless about another issue I was concerned about, and regarding another concern I had the They did not do one thing I requested, the service guy was clueless about another issue I was concerned about, and regarding another concern I had the tech said he could not reproduce the symptom which is ridiculous since it happens EVERY SINGLE time and I reproduced it as I left their parking lot. EDIT: After 2 months I thought i would check the air in the tires. They were all at 50 lbs or more. Recommended is 32. SMH More

RAV4 isuues The staff was very pleasant and as people all were very nice. However as a solution to my problem I was sorely disappointed. I had read up on the prob The staff was very pleasant and as people all were very nice. However as a solution to my problem I was sorely disappointed. I had read up on the problem and had a good idea of the issue was and relayed this to the service technician (and according to my web investigation was told the battery was not the issue when other customers tried to have it fixed. When I took it to the dealer they ran a $100 computer diagnostic and they concluded it was the battery just as predicted by other owner experiences. However, I was convinced by the staff that this would fix the problem without a doubt and was in a pinch due to heading out of town, so ended up paying $200.00 for a battery replacement (which didn't show any deficit for the most part, and I had even used both a portable and other vehicle jump start on the battery when it was having the problem and this had no effect) . Because I was heading out of town and needed a remedy I went along and had it replaced. 1/2 way to Durango Colorado we stopped for some food and the car again wouldn't start, no ignition power at all. As I suspected it was not the battery rather an issue with the relay between the ignition and sensor determining if the car is in park or neutral. Needless to say a very inconvenient experience for the holidays since it took many hours out of our trip . I have already informed the service department that I was a disappointed customer and that this would be the last time I would be using them as a business. Lesson learned I have a mechanic I trust and will be using him for this fix and future issues despite the further distance to get to him. Surprising to me that the dealer seems unaware of this quite frequent problem discussed in blogs etc about a dead ignition phenomenon despite adequate battery power in Toyota products. . More
