Hello Art, Precision Toyota of Tucson offers PRE-SALE inspections for customers that are considering the purchase of a vehicle from another dealership or private party seller for $99.95. This inspection helps guests to have maintenance and/or repairs costs needed for the vehicle prior to their purchase. In August of 2014 the Tacoma in question was looked at by a Toyota dealer in New Jersey and the E0D campaign was performed. Vehicles in cold climate states are only eligible for the updated campaign if the previous campaign wasn't performed, and is currently registered in a cold climate state. We did see your 2008 vehicle on 9/21 and a Toyota Certified technician stated his/her findings. We would love for Toyota to allow us to repair your vehicle under warranty. One, you'd be a happy guest, and two, it's income for our store. We are disappointed to read you find us responsible for this in some way. We are sorry to hear you're disappointed in your purchase and I can't see wear Precision Toyota has done anything to earn your 1-star review. I thought it was only "moderate" rust? Now you say the vehicle is not eligible because an "EOD campaign" that was previously performed in 2014. The pictures of my frame rust speak for themselves and the recall/law suit is specifically about rust issues. The "campaign" performed in 2014 by the New Jersey Toyota dealership, consisted of spraying the frame with undercoating which has since bubbled up because the (hidden) rust was not removed prior to coating and has now exasperated the issue. I understand Precision does not feel responsible ("we didn't make the truck, Toyota did") but I want to remind you that Precision is a franchise of Toyota and the local avenue regarding Toyota vehicle issues. My Tacoma's rust issues are prevalent and easy to see. Toyota made claims to stand behind their product and fix rust issues. Please fix my vehicle.

Good morning Art, To be clear it's not Precision Toyota that's saying the vehicle it's not eligible, it's actually a policy written by Toyota Corporate in their campaign legal documentation paperwork. Also, Precision Toyota of Tucson does not pay to repair customers vehicles. If Precision Toyota makes a repair or replaces parts, Toyota pays us for the repair/parts. In this case, Toyota will not pay to place the frame of your newly purchased truck, according to their policy. You're welcome to go over this policy with the Toyota Customer Experience Center at 800-331-4331.
