Power GMC SERVICE, in Salem is Top Notch. We have been going there for over 10 years now, starting with 2 vehicles on the Power KIA side, then buying GMC SUV and Trucks. If there is ever any issues arise, Mike will take care of you. My wife and traveling cross country in our GMC Sierra pulling a camper. We had trans temps of 245+. It would take us 9 hours on what should be a four hour drive. This dealer charged us $195 to diagnose the transmission and told us nothing was wrong, it was normal and that I should pay less attention to the fluid temp. I called two mechanics back home. Both disagreed and a week later in Redding CA we had it checked at a transmission shop. The problem was quickly diagnosed to be a faulty thermostat that was blocking fluid to the trans cooler. Problem fixed quickly. The point here is that Power GMC took advantage and provided poor and ineffective diagnostics and then released us with a vehicle that was desperately needing help and bordered on being unsafe. I would not recommend Power GMC. I rate them a Zero. More
I bought my Silverado about a month ago. 2 weeks me having it. The water pump gave away, I took it in they gave it back, then the heater didn't work and the radio didn't work no longer they 2 weeks me having it. Power Buick GMC of Salem service department were just terrible. My 2019 Yukon was there for a warranty repair for over a month with no activity, I had to have the vehicle towed to a different dealer. terrible. I talked to the service representative assigned to me three times, each time I had to call him. Each time I had to call multiply times before getting him taking several days each time, he would not return my phone calls or update me on repair timelines. Vehicle was towed there on November 29, 2022. First appointment available was December 8th. I called the afternoon of the 9th for an update. Despite the fact the car was towed in, they decided on the 8th “something was wrong with the transmission” and that they would need to schedule more time the following week. Next week I again had to call for an update. I was told they dropped the pan and could not fix the problem without dropping the transmission, which they would do in the next week or two. Two week later I called and was told by our repair representative that he had been gone the last two weeks and his repair technician was out this week so he had no updates. I would have to wait until the following week, but he would call (of course he did not). My wife called January 4th and was told by our service representative that his repair technician had been working on a single vehicle that had been there for 6 months and my car had not been started. So, he was lying to me or to my wife and likely both. Either way service and communication was non-existent. Would recommend staying away from Power Buick GMC if at all possible. More

Lazy service techs????? I own a 2017 Buick encore .I bought from another GM dealer, but have been getting all its mantience service done at power gmc.I thought I was in good I own a 2017 Buick encore .I bought from another GM dealer, but have been getting all its mantience service done at power gmc.I thought I was in good hands until an incident took place the other day. My dash tire monitor said front passenger tire was low I went to place air in the tire and well the tire went above max manufacture air pressure I then wondered where I had a low tire after checking all tires I found the low tire was on rear passenger. With this said power tech did not properly rotate the tires on vehicle and when rotation was preformed it was done incorrectly .rotations are done in a x pattern for non directional tires .now one tire has had to much air and all tires have not been maintained properly cause the rotations have been done incorrectly. So if the tech was this lazy I wonder what else the did not do! More
