If you have any warranties on anything purchased there it will not be honored and they will say it’s something else just to a honest business people. The dealership service department is dishonest, lacks customer service, and seems incompetent. Stay away, take your vehicle to Nissan newburgh they're awesome, friendly and know what they are doing. I took my car to Poughkeepsie Nissan to pin a cover that came loose underneath my 2017 maxima and to check my window that squeaked. I was charged $190 or so for a diagnosis for my car. Got it fixed and paid nothing extra as the issues were meager that it was covered under the diagnosis cost. I get my car back and all of a sudden my A/C stopped working properly. I go back and tell them my issue, they want to charge me another $199 for diagnosis and tell me they can give me a discount on it for $145... Why are we doing another diagnosis on the vehicle when the initial diagnosis did not mention any AC issue and now all of a sudden i have ac issues and you want to charge 199 then discount it to 149???? What they wont tell you is the diagnosis is not to check the entire car, just the part you have issues with. But then how come other areas on the vehicle for the 1st diagnosis were checked without my consent if you diagnose specific areas complained about? I turned down those servicing offers as they were completely unrelated.They wave the fee after a back and forth with the service manager who initial words were, "we cant just fix it, this is a business and it could be a coincidence". Long story short, they checked thw issue and said i need a new condenser. For a 2017 maxima with just 42k miles? Ok then let's fix it. I wait almost 2 hours thinking I'll be out of there in a few. The cost was about $600+. They come back and say yea sir, it's actually not your condenser we sealed up the condenser from leaking (even a novice knows if the condenser is leaking or faulty just replace the entire thing), its your compressor and it will be $800+ dollars to fix. See where this is going? Incompetence and dishonesty. So who's knowledge, expertise, and quality care/service can I rely on? Definitely not this dealership. took my car away from there to newburgh nissan and got the issue rectified in less than an hour. They pinpointed the issue and it was my condenser not compressor that needed to be replaced! What if i paid $800+ to Poughkeepsie nissan for the compressor only to find out that wasn't the real issue. Then they'd say, oops sorry it's your condenser sir $600+??? That would've been extra unnecessary cost all totaling $1400. Never again! Change management and get competent mechanics More

I've been dealing with Poughkeepsie Nissan since 2004. I have purchased 5 cars from them over the years. Every experience I have had with them has been outstanding. The service department is the only one have purchased 5 cars from them over the years. Every experience I have had with them has been outstanding. The service department is the only one I'll allow to work on my cars. Anything I have done there has been done right the first time. Sales personnel, customer service personnel...everyone is friendly, willing and able to help! More

I drop off my altima to fix recall now they xxxxed up my oxygen sensor and asking $600+. Telling me they can't give me my car back I never go to this place.
